you can't bomb an idea
Well, bombing Japan with Nukes destroyed the "Japanese Imperial cult".
I'm uninformed and not critiquing this, but has there been confirmation Paris was done by ISIS (or ISIL, whatever the difference there is) or not? I decided to distance myself from the events to see the conclusions once the actual event was over with, but I haven't heard any condemning evidence that it was ISIS that weren't present during the chaos, so I'm taking that with a grain of salt.
Well, bombing Japan with Nukes destroyed the "Japanese Imperial cult".
They still have an Emperor and the military actually tried to put Hirohito under house arrest because he wanted to end the war. The US introduced more rights for peasants and women, did socialism-style land reform, broke up big businesses and made sure to include Japanese people throughout the entire process. You see, if the US could include religious leaders in reforming the arab world they could actually succeed but these Islamic leaders say "fuck America".
all of you guys wanting isis to attack so the us can retaliate remember how much they used that as an excuse for bullshit laws after 2001?
Yes yes, invade a country where the average civilian is as armed as a soldier in others. Brilliant
Yes yes, invade a country where the average civilian is as armed as a soldier in others. Brilliant
Really? You think they'll try to go into peoples homes and shooting them one by one? That's not how terror works. Their aim is to inflict terror on the general populous it's not like USA already has a problem with mass shooting, and if they commit an act of terror like they did in Paris, on a day where people go out with their friends to relax and have a social time and get shot at or bombed, which will indeed drive fear to the average citizen, and put even more pressure on those guns right activists to allow them to carry even more guns. Whatever happens they achieve some kind of goal, and for them, 5-6 people selflessly dying for their cause is no loss at all. Or you think ISIS are just retarded and don't know what the fuck they're doing?
Yes yes, invade a country where the average civilian is as armed as a soldier in others. Brilliant
Doesn't stop white kids from shooting up public places
Yes yes, invade a country where the average civilian is as armed as a soldier in others. Brilliant
I need to ask, In the US, does everyone got a Gun, or only like 10% ?
I need to ask, In the US, does everyone got a Gun, or only like 10% ?
I live in Washington State, almost everyone I know either owns at least one gun or their parents do. It's quite a sizable amount of people.
I need to ask, In the US, does everyone got a Gun, or only like 10% ?
Depends on the state. National average would put about 1/3 of people being gun owners, with some states going as high as 65% owning a gun. Around where I live it's around 50% of households have at least one firearm. It's enough that the general idea of breaking into any home is heads or tales flip of your life and that's common knowledge. It's a good deterrent. As far as people carrying guns around like the wild west. I've seen maybe a dozen people in my life open carrying a firearm on their hip. In my state of 6.597 million, there are 537,000 active concealed carry permits, but you never see those since they are concealed. So that's 8% of population.
No doubt they're going to thwart this if its real. AND if its real I can't wait till Rolling Thunder 2: Electric Boogaloo.
