they actually use the free downloadable version, which lets you select block types, no need for mining
No, they use the beta version.
When I was first grade I built tree houses with my grandpa. Real ones.
Now we just need a smart autistic kid to sneak in :ninja: Smart kid -> Find Diamonds -> Find Obsidian -> Make portal -> Find Ghast -> Bring Ghast into normal world (possible, I think :downs: ) -> let the tears rain (Much less hard to solve than lava, all they need is a bucket to solve lava)
1. I thought that the Nether was disabled in SMP? Or is it available for LAN parties? 2. I think that Ghasts can only enter the Overworld on rare occasions, usually when it glitches. 3. From the sound of his blog, the game's set on Peaceful mode, so no Ghasts, Creepers, or Skeleton Jockeys.
they actually use the free downloadable version, which lets you select block types, no need for mining
Just look at the pictures on his blog, there's Fences, the Day/Night cycle, Cacti, Pickaxes, Chests, even Torches, none of which were featured in Creative. And before you ask, there's a post where he explains he bought codes for each computer, not pirate it. There's some really neat pieces in there, like the Pyramid Project article he posted.
I don't understand how this is educational. But if it works it works.
I don't understand how this is educational. But if it works it works.
Teaches the kids how to cooperate with each other and help solve problems
You didnt need minecraft for this.
1 creeper + 1 creeper = 2 gigantic holes in your house
This could double as an Anti-Terrorism educational tool. Just equate the Creepers to Jihadis and give the kids weapons to kill them with. :v:
Teaches the kids how to cooperate with each other and help solve problems
So they play challenge maps?
That is so awesome.

I wish they had stuff like this when I was a little kid. :frown:
Remember LEGOs? Me neither.
lucky little fuckers can't wait for an older kid to sneak in and set it to hard
What if they find the nether :v: wait he has it on peaceful crap.
