then they could just break the dudes shit instead, are you seriously saying murder is an option for these kids?
or man the fuck up and get through it like most people who get bullied, the world will always have pussies, but school shooters are becoming more common, I diagnose these people with EPD (extreme pussy disorder)
You are an example of how flawed humanity is as a species, directly telling off people who don't have the mental or physical capacity to defend themselves and then berating them even more once something like this happens. It's as if the Isolationist ideals of 19th century America was personified with people like you
The kid was a dumbass for bringing a gun to school, but is it his fault or the fact an asshole of such caliber brought him to the point of thinking this a logical decision?
To say he should be shut away from normal society and social interaction is just as stupid, if anything it would make his mentality towards another human worse. You are at the same level as Hitler to say hes unfit for society.
he is the only one who thinks murdering someone is a logical decision, you can't blame anyone but the shooter

The kid needs help, not to be locked up in a padded cell or killed to save the gene pool you pleb.

except he's been driven insane by the bully and wouldn't normally think that was a good idea

ok lets get this straight, people probably called this kid a faggot because he was a loser or something or was a dick to some people once, victims of bullying usually aren't targeted for no reason that just doesn't happen often at all
he isn't defending his fucking life, he isn't using a gun to survive he's just some kid that happens to be bullied, he could defuse the situation by saying the right things or moving schools or some shit, people who don't have the mental capacity to socialize should not resort to gun violence, let alone have access to a deadly weapon like that
notice how modern society is tolerating people with mental disorders (autism) more than they used to, oh it also happens to result in way more fucking mass murders
Words
So let me get this straight, not only is it this kids fault for being bullied, but in addition to that he wasn't as sociable as a 'normal' person should be, and going even further its society's fault because we care about the mentally ill thus creating more mass murderers.
If you actually believe this then you're the one in need of help.

Why should the kid have to move schools? I tried that in middle school when I was struggling with a lot of shit going on, and it doesn't help. It's not the kid that needs to change some how, it's the environment he's actually in. Attention needs to be paid, real fucking attention, not this fake "Oh we'll take care of it, shame on little Johnny! He'll stay in for recess". A lot of severe issues could be avoided, such as violence like this, and more bullying, resulting in a very messed up kid with a lot of issues to deal with as he gets older.
And shit like this does actually happen without the victim starting it. Kids growing up sometimes feel they need to stand out, and be popular, and a great way to do this is to appear stronger than other kids, and they showcase this by picking on other kids. It needs to be addressed in a very serious manner. It's not just "lol kid was probably a loser". That's such a lame excuse to make for a problem that drives a lot of kids to kill themselves alone in their rooms because they feel like nobody pays attention to them when they need help.

I don't even know where to begin, now.
You think I'm condoning his actions or saying he should have access to weapons? No, I didn't ever mention that. What I said was that he shouldn't be demonized or berated or punished for acting out in the only way he could have contemplated to do so. If he was willing to kill two people to stop them from bullying him, obviously he probably didn't have much conscious control over his own actions.
You have some idea that all of this trouble and the burden that the bullies had put on this kid is something that he has to deal with by himself and in some "acceptable" manner, as if he had to compete with the rest of the world or play some weird game to not be harassed or assaulted or damaged, or to do nothing about it, and if he didn't have the ability to do any of that, fuck him. That right there is sick, and a more exaggerated example of why some of these shootings have happened in the first place. It's blaming the victim. It's saying that assaulting and harassing the victim for no more of a reason than, "He is a faggot and a loser who acted like a dick to a guy once" is fair game.
Having to fight back the stronger masses to protect your small self and contending with assholes is not part of socializing, or at least it should never be part of socializing. If the competitive, domineering, and belligerent nature of humans and society is causing the problem, why not fix it instead of allowing the torturing of a mentally damaged person, and then bombarding him with insults through the media and on the internet?
Now, the first and last sections of your post are so broken and detached from reality that I don't really have anything to say about them.

I was first really bullied in third grade when a so called friend started threatening to kill my bird and was constantly sack tapping for no reason me until I moved schools for other reasons then all throughout the rest of primary school I was bullied and picked on for no real reason and throughout year 7 and year 8 I was bullied by some little ratty cunt that didn't like my suede jacket, the fucker even smeared meat pie on my suede jacket so don't go saying such bullshit like that you bigoted prick.
Edit: Infact some days I felt like killing the ratty cunt because he was just such a dick with all the punching teasing and all that.

I'm sure we all have thoughts like that at points. but there's a big difference between thinking/fantasizing about doing something, then actually doing it.
A simple kick to the nuts would have sufficed. People that get bullied need to be taught to defend themselves. If they get in even more trouble, they should cite whatever self-defense laws there are in their country and/or get the police involved.

It sounds like your brain cells were ruthlessly bullied by all those paint chips you ate as a kid.

Were you bullied? Because there's a deep, shared hatred for bullies when they bully you. You don't just want them to be hurt to stop bullying you, you want them to pay. You want them to be staring down the barrel of a gun, realizing they fucked up. You want them to regret every action they've wronged you with. You want them to be sorry.

I'm sure everyone that's been bullied has fantasized about doing this at least once.
But, this is reality. If you actually do this in such a fashion like the 16 year old in the article, then you deserve the trouble.
People who say this stuff look even more stupid to me, video games are literally the only reason i survived high-school. i dont really want to go into much detail about what happened to me but to give you an idea, two of the worst pyhsical incidents include me getting stabbed in art class and being attacked by a gang of 20 other students- luckly i was only stabbed with a craft knife so it wasnt that bad, it hit my ribs and didnt do any real damage. only thing they did to the kid was have a police officer come in and make him watch a video on how knife-crime can effect familys- and even then ,he got to go early for laughing the whole way through.
i contemplated murdering the people who hurt me every day, hoping that the media coverage would bring some fucking attention to how much is allowed to go on. i considered commiting suicide even more frequently- even attempting to hang myself , only surviving becuase i was too scared to try again when i messed it up.
the only time i wasnt utterly miserable was when i was playing TF2 or halo 3 and dawn of war with my friends, or mass effect/ me2, fallout 3 and oblivion on my own.
the escapism provided by computer-games gave me pauses in what was the worst time of my life.
now that im in college,my life has greatly improved, i have had numerous boyfriends and girlfriends- i am popular and i am self confident- and to know that i could have thrown it all away if not for computer games giving me a way to vent the extreme stress i was under
makes me incredibly grateful such a medium exists, and very angry when people blame it for the very issue it helped me cope with.
Ha, I have good memories of games like that. One game in particular I remember clearly. I won't say the name because I'd probably get laughed at, it was an MMO. (not moshi monsters or any of that club penguin garbage, nor WoW, LoL and that stuff either) I got hooked on it in early 2011. I didn't even have the game until August, when it went F2P XD. Made so many friends during that time. The entire community was brilliant. No-one hated anyone, everyone was welcome. The forums were absolutely hilarious. It took my mind off of my contemplations of killing myself. Then one day my friends were raving on about Portal being free on Steam. Had no idea what Steam was, but I had seen some videos of Portal 2 and loved it. So I got it, hated Steam at first but eventually started liking it. I had only ever played a shooter once, and that was only like 5 min of Halo: Reach. Saw TF2 was free thought "what the heck, I'll give it a shot". I lost complete interest in the MMO. A month later, on November 4th, it was announced the game (MMO) would be closing. And though it has been 3 years since I first heard of it, 2 years since I got hooked, one year since I started playing and since it ended, I will never forget the memories of myself holding a knife to my throat and suddenly remembering my friends. It's incredibly powerful what even a tiny little demo world can do.
It is a good thing that games exist, and they can be used to prevent scenarios such as the unfortunate one that has just occured.
bullies are the worst.

I'm so sick of people posting this. What do you suggest someone does if they are being bullied by someone who is vastly physically superior to them? What do you suggest someone who is physically disabled do to defend themselves?
Stop saying the solution is to simply teach people to defend themselves. Most of the time the reason someone gets bullied is because the bully knows that his victim can't defend themselves against him no matter how hard they try. The solution is for bullying to actually be taken seriously and for there to be real consequences for it, and for authorities to actually get off their asses and do something about it instead of pretending the whole thing is just a silly joke.
I was once bullied so hard, that when I was sitting next to the guy in the dining room (yup, big hall with tables and you couldn't choose your sitting spot), and he just kept going on and on and on, I snapped.
I picked up my empty plate (white round, ceramic mind you, these things can hurt people), raised it above my head and for about 2 seconds I thought about smashing it over his head with all my might
Then it took one second of all the self-control I had left to divert my target and smash it into the table, turning the entire hall deadly silent from the loud bang while I just stared at him, like some sort of psycho. I saw his face become pale white, this was something NOBODY had expected the silent little kid to do.
The teachers came, picked me up and dragged me to the principals office to explain my actions. That's when they started to actually help me and reduce the bullying in the classes :v:

Saying the right things could have stoped it? , they bullied him for a reason?, Fuck off. you clearly have absoulutely no idea what bullying in some schools is like, When people attacked me, it was completely unprovoked, when i tried to talk my way out of fights, they pissed themselves laughing and attacked me anyway. i hated fighting wether i won or lost, i always hated it- but i still got into more fights than anyone in school. i remember blinking blood out of my eyes when two guys where pinning me down as another kid i had never fucking met stamped on my face and asking "why the fuck are you doing this to me?!"- and he simply jeered- "coz its funny as fuck you fuckin emo faggot" and carried on- YEAH its definately the victims here who are the messed up people here. im going to carry some of the scars from wounds i sustained for the rest of my life- and hundreds of other kids go through the same shit every day.
have some basic fucking compassion.

This is a great way of looking at things, that is, going directly to the cause instead of the means, as being the problem. The only issue is, is that when the people with the power to put changes into effect pinpoint the main cause, they usually shit it up by trying to solve bullying with pussifying stuff like "everyone is a winner, even when you lose," which again, isn't really helping the main issue of bullying one another.

Man, feels bad man, I remember in eighth grade, there was this generic nerd kid that everybody made fun of just because, and at one point in class, literally nearly every kid was targetting this kid and just all laughing together at him, it was horrible, so horrible that this kid who was strong enough everyday to just shoulder it off and stay quiet from all the past bullying that he finally snapped, and really it was just so sad because you could hear the fear in his voice, he was nervous, but he picked up his pen, put it directly in front of right his eye and sternly said, "if you guys don't shut the hell up I'm going to stab my freakin' eye out!"
Again, it was really sad seeing this innocent kid pushed to that point, reaction.
Heard about this earlier before it made headlines. Apparently local happenings travel fast in the great republic.
I heard he called out the kid he was going to shoot first before he fired.
And thing is, this applies for schools in every single country. Teachers don't give a shit.
But, the bullies never realize that 'oh hey, If I do this long enough he might stab me with a knife the next day'
Isn't the columbine massacre also a result of bullying?

Nope, according to loads of stuff that surfaced after Columbine it turned out neither of them were bullies. Both of them had mental health issues with one having severe depression and the other had psychopathy, both needed each other to do the shooting and without one of them it likely would have never happened.
