Who is then? The world needs a police, otherwise shit like the Syrian chemical strike would only get worse
Supposedly it's the UN that decides such things like interventions, the problem with the US is they like to go world police by itself regardless of what the UN says. Like I said, if they waited for the UN results, they would have much more support for intervention, Russia even stated they wouldn't opposed intervention if the treaty was proven to be broken by the Syrian government.
three destroyers positioned in the Read Sea can also fire cruise missiles at Syria.
Accurate Intelligence.
The fact that Obama and his administration have basically said "Ignore the American people, who the majority of don't want us to attack" Is awful. You're not the world police, America.
I'm afraid that's not how representative democracy works. If the representatives, which people have elected to be their representative, decide to vote for intervention, then that is the democractic will of the people. Don't like it? Should've voted for someone else to represent you, then.
Accurate Intelligence.
it's encrypted.
being a syran civilian must be the worst job ever [editline]8th September 2013[/editline] i hope they get good hazard pay
Ok i'm for an isolated strike but 3 fucking days??? Are we targeting each military man individually??
No unless the Syrian military is comprised of around 50 people :v: My guess is it takes a while to set up a cruise missile and due to their range it also take a while to reach the target, then they have to confirm the target was destroyed or not in case they have to fire again.
3 days of raining missiles, the Syrian military definitely won't come out of that intact.
Neither will the civilian population.
So, Mr "no boots on the ground" Obama, what happens if one of the fighter jets gets shot down over Syria and the pilot needs rescuing?
Same thing that happened when a pilot crashed in Libya. They quickly move in, grab them, then get the hell out.
Am I the only one that finds the coverage of this absurd? Hey, we're going to attack you, in this way, on this day, for this long. You have time to prepare and hide your shit Let's just give everyone all the warning time they need
We used to drop leaflets from planes all the time warning of impending attacks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airborne_leaflet_propaganda
So, Mr "no boots on the ground" Obama, what happens if one of the fighter jets gets shot down over Syria and the pilot needs rescuing?
I'm p. sure the fighter jet pilots are also highly trained special ninjas equipped with standard issue military survival kit.
So, Mr "no boots on the ground" Obama, what happens if one of the fighter jets gets shot down over Syria and the pilot needs rescuing?
lmfao
So, Mr "no boots on the ground" Obama, what happens if one of the fighter jets gets shot down over Syria and the pilot needs rescuing?
AFAIK those pilots are equipped with emergency gear and a transponder for such cases. For quick & swift extracting with the rescuing crews' boots barely getting covered with dust. In short: you so stupid, like fo' realz.
Ok i'm for an isolated strike but 3 fucking days??? Are we targeting each military man individually??
If thats the case, why cant we just load our planes with rocks? When they get pelted with a rock flying at many miles per hour, thatll teach 'em
Who is going to secure Assad's ( Leftover ) chemical weapons when his regime falls?
Al-Quaeda, they'll keep that stuff safe. Don't worry, they won't use it on civilians in Syria.
