I watched the TED talk with a guy speaking for transhumanism and bionic limbs. The speaker was walking back and forth on the podium and later in the show the dude rolled up his pants and showed a pair of bionic legs, fully working. You could barely see them when he walked around there.
We've gotten a long way, but still just an inch compared to what will come in the future.
