Michigan Teens Try to Flash Mob a Guy; Guy shoots teens in the ass for being fucking retarded

Title made it sound like a bunch of teenagers started dancing around someone and he shot one of them, pretty misleading.
When I heard "flash mob" I thought you meant a bunch of teens were waving their dicks at the guy and he shot them.
Moral of the story: dont mess with people, as they might be carrying guns.
[sp]And that's a pain in the ass...[/sp]
Why are teens bored and allegedly high enough to go after random people with a stun gun? Holy shit.

God damnit, that was a subtle way of getting away with what you just did.
Did he feel lucky?
Do you?
Punk?

Avatar fits so well
If it can be demonstrated that the teenager was trying to flee when he was shot, the teen may be able to file a civil suit. Even if the man had been actually shocked he wouldn't be legally justified in shooting a fleeing perp; lethal force is only legally justified to protect your own well-being, not to 'get even' or stop a criminal from getting away.
Either way, the kid had it coming.

The man wasn't sure if he'd been stabbed or something, heat of the moment defense. Plus the fact that he stood by and was fully helpful and cooperative - the teen wouldn't have a case, even if he wanted to.

But it wasn't just a fleeing perp, it was an armed assailant. Theres a difference between shooting someone who just commited a crime or misdemeanor and shooting someone who is running around with a weapon attacking people. The intent of the teen was not clear, only that he was armed and actively using his weapon. The simplest of defenses would be that he was acting in the best interests of himself and everyone around him, including the teen, who he effectively and non-lethally disarmed.
It's a but excessive force but seeing as the guy thought he'd been stabbed and he did it while in a passionate state, any possible crime would probably be thrown out.
You seem to be almost disappointed by this fact.
But the question stands, did the idiot learn his lesson?
I think so

Did you do this on purpose

Glad we give advantages to criminals, want to stab someone? Just run away, and if they shoot you then you can sue them!
Oh I'm surprised no one brought this up

At least the guy was reasonable enough to shoot him in the ass with the gun, as opposed to the back, where you're just as likely to paralyze him as you are to kill him. I heard somewhere that if getting shot is completely unavoidable, then the ass is probably the best place, because it's literally a wad of fat covered by skin.
Sucker punching random people and stungunning them ? This is incredibly dangerous. Is it wrong to feel glad that this idiot met a gun owner with a bad day?
And I thought everything was going downhill when throwing milk on the floor in the super market was the latest thing.

Realistically, being shot in the ass was probably a total fluke. When you shoot, you shoot to kill. The kid probably got lucky. It's not like the man, who was admittedly in a panic, took the time to purposefully aim for the kid's ass to teach him a lesson.

I thought we were talking Flash Mob as in a bunch of people dancing or something.

Oh god that's so horrible otherwise.

Title 2/10
The teen lost the game.
I'm on the guy with the guns side on this one. The teen will think twice about doing that again.
He shot Weaver in his buttocks as the teen turned to flee.
Well, at least he'll get free ice cream.
Serves him right.
lol why does it matter how much his gun was worth
Anyway, what a fucking idiot.
The man called 911. He told the dispatcher the teen was "terminally wounded" and that he was a concealed pistol holder.A witness told police the man stayed by the teen and appeared supportive and non-threatening.
The intended victim has my respect.

It's never "shoot to kill" in self-defense cases, ever. You shoot until the threat is gone, whether they ran off or were incapacitated, although regrettably the best outcomes are when you kill the person attacking you, since they can actually file a civil suit on you and sue the fuck out of you.
The invisible rope on the street trick is good one too.
I'm an asshole to those kids, always floor the fucking pedal whenever I see them.

wroooooong you don't shoot to kill that's police code you are confused
if you shoot to kill in a self defense situation you're probably doing something very wrong

Self defense authorizes lethal force if you feel your life is in immediate danger. If you only wound someone, your life is still in danger. Especially if they are on PCP or something.

Shit, I remember those days, if you try that today you'd probably get a face full of buckshot before the door even opens.
Don't do this either, the meth addicts around here use something similar to this around 10:30pm-3am. They run up to your door, beat on it like hell, mash the doorbell a bunch and book it like hell then watch. Houses are picked from random by who they think isn't home and then break into the house if nothing happens. I live in a rather nice neighborhood too, the scum from around here travels to nicer neighborhoods to do this even.
