Two thousand and ten would be for a formal presentation or other such events.
Twenty-ten is more informal for everyday use.
That's how I view it.

I agree with this man; As a matter of fact, that's practically what I had in mind
ITT: Grammar nazis fighting eachother
Who cares, we all understand each other either way.
Twenty ten sounds stupid, like it's trying to be futuristic or something. I just say two thousand and ten.
I've always said two thousand and nine, not two thousand nine.
I'm saying twenty ten though.
No one is going to say Two thousand, one hundred and five in 95 years so, I'm going to go with Twenty ten.
I say 2K10
I'd say twenty ten. Y'know, cos everyone's calling the 2012 olympics twenty twelve?

Yeah, this.
Also the only real reason we said nineteen eightyfive and such back in the day is because it was faster.
What's quicker, saying that or one thousand ninehundred and eightyfive?
I'm probably not gonna stray from saying two-thousand ten because i'm so rooted to it. :v:
It's quick to say in Swedish anyway, so..
