Rumor: Tom Cruise is finally leaving Scientology for his daughter

he's probably realised that there is one true lord.
[sp]Cthulhu, lord of darkness [/sp]
What are they going to do to him? He's wealthy, does some pretty radical cool shit for his movies, doesn't age and has the looks of a god. Tell us he's gay? Okay, so what
Neil Patrick Harris is gay, and coming out didn't ruin his career.
He's more successful now than he was 20 years ago.

Funny way to spell [sp]Nicolas Cage[/sp]
If you worship anything besides the god emperor of mankind, I hope you end up warped you godless sodomite of a heretic.
If they target Cruise I could easily see him using his influence, popularity and wealth to hurt them pretty good.
My guess is they're letting him go and Travolta will take his place as the CEO Nutjob of the cult.
Also related: read up on Travolta's deceased son. Some fucked up shit, for sure.

I can only speculate, but I'm sure Tom is quite familiar with what happened to Travolta's son, and grew a conscience and decided he wants out of it.

Either he knows enough about them to defend himself/retaliate or he's just got the biggest balls on earth.
To be honest either way if he quits he's got huge balls.
It's good to support your daughter, but Tom should have left a long time ago for himself cause scientology is retarded.
he'd most likely have to move to europe or something to truly get away from these cunts.
I know at least Germany has banned them, so maybe there?

Well, pedophile scandals have a way of destroying the strongest Hollywood reputations.

Oh god.
Is Tom Cruise going to become the next David Hasselhoff?
Scientology's best skill is running smear campaigns and attacking deserters, so Cruise is not going to have an easy time getting out no matter what dirt they have on him. It's probably taking a lot of courage to work up to finally do it.
I only hope that the media and general populace support him and tell Scientology to fuck off when they come after him. I don't care what someone did; they do not deserve to be caught up in that shit.
Two weeks later Tom Cruise is broke and or dead.
I would watch the shit out of a Tom Cruise vs Scientology movie, maybe with jets and homoerotic undertones?
I'm almost expecting news to come out saying something ungodly terrible about him, now. He's too high profile to go after physically, but character assassination is definately on the table.
The whole auditing thing that's central to the church's practices is basically a really deep dirt collection method, they've likely got decades of shit on him.
On the other hand, if stuff is revealed about him now, everyone's going to know exactly where it came from and why it was revealed. Assuming it's not shit like raping kids (though I wouldn't put it past Scientology to fabricate a story like that), I think people will likely forgive him for whatever the Scientology cult reveals and uses against him, and he can hit right back with a tell-all about the cult.

I wouldn't put it beyond them to have young women claim they were sexually abused or raped by him in the past, if not go full-blown fake videos / doctored photographs / out of context interviews.
I dont think Tom Cruise or any celebrity in it believes in Xenu. They join Sciencetology because it can save them alot of money.
I'm skeptical, the backlash alone could be at a point of members going after him to kill him or kidnap him in a bunker never to be seen again.
But if it's true cue

Remember that they broke in to the home of an author critical of them and used her personal stationary to send out letters threatening terrorist actions against government institutions.

So while you put in 1m you won't need to pay taxes that might cost you like 3million

That is for the organization itself.
I don't think he's got that much to worry about regarding a smear campaign, as he's been deep enough in the organization to absolutely ruin it as well. It's, in effect, a case of MAD, and I doubt he'd hesitate to hit the big red button if they do.
That is for the organization itself.
Yeah but sciencetology somehow store their money. So they won't get taxed.

It would be like in his movie "The Firm".
The Church is in far too deep publicity wise to try and do anything to Tom in terms of a smear campaign, most people would call BS on whatever they say.

So they could just post the recordings. But then Tom Cruise could tell us everything that is going on in Sciencetology Church which would practically kill the Church.
PS im not sure if it called a relief session but you get what i mean
Please let this begin the downfall of Scientology. With anti-vax and climate change scepticism, it's a cancer on modern society.
Tom Cruise, you are an Unsaveable. The Kings of the 9th paradigm will be going after you. Kifflom.
I'm so glad I believe in absolutely nothing except that we are here and I don't know why and that's just fine with me. No one tells me how I should live and I'm only guided by my imagination and life experiences. It's so funny when someone asks me what I believe in (if they're religious) and they go bonkers. Then try to tell me I need God. Then I just chuckle and go about my day knowing I don't need to prove anything to anyone but myself :) that is what true happiness is. No fucks to give = Happiness. Science, the big bang, aliens etc... Is all fun to think about but I won't believe it without evidence.
QUICK!
Someone! The 870 and 5 12g with pellets!
NOW!
Before it spreads!

It would be interesting if Tom tried to get ahead of any potential smear and came clean on any dirt he may have himself, like Letterman did when he was blackmailed because the party involved had proof he was sleeping around with coworkers.

The downfall of scientology will begin when they're no longer tax-exempt. Like seriously, it's painfully obvious that the Church of Scientology isn't a non-profit organisation. How the hell has this been going on for so long?

In some countries they've literally been able to use their sway to allow themselves to exploit loopholes. Abusing the law to their own advantage is 90% of their scam.
