And something of high value was lost. :frown:
Haha that computer looks like something out of Fallout 3. FrEaKy.
Fallout 3 was based on technology from the 40s/50s, but the game takes place in 2277 after 300 years of nuclear fallout - meaning that the advancement of technology was hindered severely in that time, leaving them with very basic early 70s computers.
Everybody shut down your computer for five minutes.
I agree with this man. Everybody, power down your rigs as we mourn our loss. It is sad day. Everybody using a computer now should be mourning his loss. Without him, where else would i find image macros of a french painter giving me advice?
R.I.P Dr Roberts Without him, we wouldn't have all the AMAZING stuff we have today :) (Inculding Facepunch :P) You'll always be remembered *cries
*sigh* This actually makes me a bit sad.

Bless thy great man, for he thee great fore-father of all of our communities, lest be for not him, we would not be here as of now. I thank you, Doctor. I shall cry electric tears tonight, in honor of your service and dedication to being fucking awesome.
Alan Turing, the real father of the computer died in the 50's. Persecuted for being gay, he killed himself. State sanctioned persecution none-the-less. Either way sad to see this guy go. Had a huuuuge influence on the entire last few decades.

He gets no sympathy from me. :colbert: [editline]12:47AM[/editline]
Alan Turing, the real father of the computer died in the 50's. Turing is way better than this other loser.
Are you talking about Deus Ex?
No. American Psycho. Where'd you get Deus Ex from?
i guess that was one crash cart that couldn't restart his heart
Funny, the brits made the first computer, then the Americans made the first PC.

His heart just needs more thermal paste.
Rest in peace, father.
Rest in peace my creator.
I hope you mean your computers creator.
For a moment I thought bill gates died.
He would use his money to buy medicine that kept the fucker alive :frown: And if he did die, he would get into heaven too easily. He owns the Bill to the Gates anyway. (Bill Gates. Get it? :v:)

I salute him. May he rest in peace.
Must of been proud knowing he started the porn revolution.
Thank Tim Berners-Lee for that, even if CERN never finds the Higgs Boson, at least they invented HTML
