Hell yeah it does, if you had to deal with this acceptance shit everyday you would be fed up with it. I just don't understand how you guys support this. When the truth is being gay is a mental disorder that some people are born with. Not a bandwagon you can hop on to be hip and being a rebel against "old ways".
Lololol acceptance shit. Fuck them different people, being like me is the only right way. Anything not exactly my mental type is wrong.

i support this because people like you are people i lived my entire life hating.
people who judged others based on something irrelevant like their religion or the colour of their skin or their sexuality.
fuck the old ways i have no use for them, the quicker they are gone the quicker we can live as who we are, all different all unique but smart and sane enough to respect each other for those differences
so uh when you call homosexuality a mental disorder, you are judging a person who you don't even know and nothing pisses me off more than that.
You guys probably think i'm trolling or i'm just plain stupid. Although if you would try to understand me and look at things from my point of view. I may have used some offensive terms and I apologize for that. But seriously, let me try to explain this more thoroughly.
You enter high school, no one is gay.
A couple of people come out of the closet.
1 year later gay rights is really starting to get attention.
Then after you start to notice a flood of unattractive females resorting to bi/homosexuality for attention and a chance of having sex with someone.
Then said females get all pissy and start calling anyone who doesn't approve of what they do "homophobes" and "bigots"
And recently some of the females start to claim they aren't gay anymore and drop the whole pep talk about gay rights.
Freshmen come in, are influenced by the older girls, and turn gay out of the fucking blue.
This is common throughout high schools in my area, and why I think these gay clubs and shit are just fucking retarded.

"Some annoying girls acted gay for attention. Thus, fuck gay rights"
AutoTurret I hate you more than I hate any other user of Facepunch
Usually words on a screen don't bother me but I'm going to go write your username on something soft and then punch it repeatedly

You know, it's not nice to talk that way about someone who is just trying to state their opinions and beliefs.
You know, it's not nice to talk that way about someone who is just trying to state their opinions and beliefs.
It's justifiable when their opinions are absolutely despicable in every way.
Being gay nowadays is a plea for fucking attention. I strongly disagree that these many people are actually homos. More that half of the people that are gay at my school are fucking ugly girls that no guy would poke, even on facebook. This whole gay movement to me is complete bullshit in the teenage demographic. I know maybe one or two people that are genuinely gay and the rest are part of a fad, that joined the gay rights cancer that is spreading everywhere. Basically my verdict on these clubs from a first hand Texan experience, is that girls whore themselves out to other girls that are looking for a chance at popularity. As for the males, maybe some truly are fagots, but either way gay ain't the way.
I laughed my ass off. :v:

What about their doings would you not approve of? Having sex with other women? If so, you "disapproving" of it is homophobic.
GAY-STRAIGHT ALLIANCE? I BET ITS A GODDAMN GAY SEX ORGY CLUB.

Homosexuality is more than sexual attraction, I hope you realise.
the christian conservative right is holding america back. Good thing it will probably mostly die off within the next century partially thanks to better education and the internet, and thank god for that
and with it loads of prejudice will also die off
Don't forget secularism helps!
Homosexuality is more than sexual attraction, I hope you realise.
By definition, how is homosexuality anything more than a sexual/romantic attraction?
Homosexuality is more than sexual attraction, I hope you realise.
Please elaborate, The Poster Formerly Known as Doriol
By definition, how is homosexuality anything more than a sexual/romantic attraction?
My point was that homosexuality is a romantic attraction as well as a sexual attraction. In my opinion, to say that you can't choose who you're romantically attracted to is ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned, sexual attraction is more or less set in stone when you're born, but who you are romantically attracted to is something that is developed throughout your life, depending on your culture and experiences with men and women.
well i don't think it's something you can really choose
it either happens or it doesn't
some people choose to not act on that impulse
i keep an open mind

Right, but someone sexually attracted to men only isn't going to be romantically attracted to women.
Right, but someone sexually attracted to men only isn't going to be romantically attracted to women.
Sorry, what? I don't really understand what you're saying. Is it impossible to be sexually attracted to men but romantically attracted to men and women?
Sorry, what? I don't really understand what you're saying. Is it impossible to be sexually attracted to men but romantically attracted to men and women?
No he's saying if you (male) only have a fancy for guys then you're not going to get romantic with a woman. Just like a heterosexual male that only fancies females isn't going to get romantic with a male.

The definition of homosexuality, according to Google:
a sexual attraction to (or sexual relations with) persons of the same sex
Hence the sexuality part. It has nothing to do with romance, but they frequently go together, while they often do not - for example, look at happily married men who enjoy sex with men.

That makes perfect sense, but it's not out of the question that a person can do a complete 180 of their sexuality in some point of their life.

That's what often throws me off when I'm discussing sexuality. Most people have that rigid definition of homosexuality, whereas I see it as a combination of sexual and romantic attraction. Most people don't make the distinction between homosexuality and homoromanticism, so they group them together.
either way you should keep an open mind

Yeppers.
As long as there's consent from both parties I honestly don't give a shit what orifices a person puts their dick into. May not be my thing, but it's not my business either.
homosexuality
I don't see what point you're trying to make.

My whole argument sounds convoluted now that I think about it. Ignore my posts.
I don't see what point you're trying to make.
The point is that you aren't allowed to change the definition of words when you're wrong about something
Schools usually do this kinda shit when they shit their selves after they seeing controversy walking their way

Texas isn't apart of the South, It's apart of the Southwest, and despite called the buckle of the baptist 'bible belt' time to time, Roman Catholics hold the plurality and whites are officially a minority
I know, but it's culturally similar. I suppose it's a little bit like calling Egypt the Middle East. Geographically, that's incorrect, but many people consider them to be culturally similar.
Also, I've probably been partially wrong on a few subjects in the last few weeks. I've been venting my frustration a bit. I kept getting into an argument with this Tea Party guy and he frustrated me to the point where I lost my cool.
Also, I apologize for my rage and the shitty arguments that exploded out of me as a result of it.
