if it is true, Bioware are geniuses at marketing by making fans pay for the true ending.
All they did was cheat off of Bethesda's homework.
So instead of shipping with a bad ending, they shipped with no ending.
That's fucking stupid.
Gotta love the comment at the end, "This ending is amazing"? No it isn't. It's people grasping at straws because Bioware gave us shit. Their main argument basically boils down to, "Even Bioware couldn't have fucked it up this badly, it must've been intentional!" Even if it is somehow true, we're now assuming Bioware shipped the game with no ending and intend to release it months later, which is fucking bullshit.
They've probably been indoctrinated.
I like the music that plays during the ending sequence. it's so peaceful c:

Now, I haven't played any of the ME's, but this text seems to make the endings have a deeper meaning than what you saw. Like I said, I have no idea what the hell he is talking about because I've never played this.
If the Catalyst is Harbinger then why does he offer you a chance to destroy the Reapers?
All they did was cheat off of Bethesda's homework.
Bethesda never did that though. They made it so that people could play after the ending with dlc. Like, the game and the Lone Wanderers story was done. He had found his dad and made it so the wasteland had purified water. The story was done, but they had made it so you couldn't play after the ending.
Hahahahahaha holy shit
And to think theres idiots still willing to actually buy this shit.
On one hand you have those that appreciated the endings for what they were, and were gracious that Bioware was able to craft three games that took Western RPG's to a new level.
Mass Effect isn't an RPG.
Bioware doesn't even make RPGs anymore, they make shit.
[editline]16th March 2012[/editline]
And if you look at Bioware's past attempts at DLC, I wouldn't hold my breath on any ending they add being any good.
It'll be $15, and be a 20 minute boring as shit "dungeon" with no story at all.

The majority of the game is great, and the multiplayer is competent. Only the last ten minutes suck bad. Dropped the game from 9/10 to 7/10 for me.
"Control" is obviously the best choice, and this is why:

Seriously, I kept myself away from the leaked script so that I wouldn't spoil myself. Now I know Bioware is punishing me for being patient and waiting.
This is fake. Why? Geth Infiltrator.

not sure what you're implying here
I love gaming journalism.
Some assclowns on /vg/ make up fake DLC, two other assclowns make shops to go along with some of the jokes, and it gets reposted like mad.
This isn't any more real than the hidden Zaeed ending or Garrus having an Ancient Bird Scream, sorry.
not sure what you're implying here
The Geth do not infiltrate.
The Geth do not infiltrate.
...do you not remember the stealth geth from ME2? I'm just saying, the infiltrator thing is bullshit

Avoid the Citadel like the plague for the entirety of ME2. Get Legion, bring him to the Citadel. Learn that it was a quote.
The Geth do not infiltrate.
Geth do not intentionaly infiltrate.

I myself cannot withstand the jaggy animations, occasional retarded dialogue, plus tons of illogicies.
A guy gets shot in the middle of busy public area and no one gives a fuck.
Oh my GOD
I can be a Geth!
Please don't be pricey as fuck! PLEEEAAASSSEEE!

There was a reason I stressed that this is a RUMOR and to take it with a grain of salt.

It's a joke. In ME2 if you bring Legion with you to the Citadel and talk to the customs officer or w/e who says security has been tightened because of potential Geth infiltration, Legion comments that the Geth do not infiltrate. She then tells you to keep your mech quiet or something.

It's been a year or two since I played ME2, but now I remember where that's from.

/v/ has given us info that turned out to be true before.
I still haven't had this question answered. What does everyone actually want them to do now? They may have screwed up a bit but Bioware aren't inventors of the time machine and what's done is done. I think it's good that they are trying to fix this because they sure as hell don't HAVE to.
It'd better be fuckin' free; they have a debt to us. Fuck the notion that their commitment to you ends once they have your money; they have to uphold their honour by apologising for their misdeeds with a free DLC pack, regardless of how many guns EA are being pointed at their heads.
If it's free, i'l probably be able to try and forgive them, but i'll still never forget how they removed Javik from the main game for monetisation.
Also, if my copy isn't here by the afternoon, i'll likely be having words with Amazon, because this is getting ridiculous.
So much entitlement.
/v/ has given us info that turned out to be true before.
If something comes from an unproven anonymous source you should regard it as bullshit till it's proven. Sure some /v/ info has been correct in the past, but there is much, much more stuff that is made up to get reactions out of people. This one just had a tiny bit of effort put into it and suddenly everyone buys it. Hell, I'm not denying the multiplayer part add that could very well be real, but does that mean any accompanying info is legit add well? The post that has been screencapped is not the first time the Facebook screencap has appeared. I saw it at least two days earlier in a mass effect general on /vg/

Yes, but they want us to pay for their mistakes, now.
People are looking way to far into these endings and everyone is coming out with more and more 'extended' endings of what was really happening. People just need to look at the ending, and accept the actual face value of the video, anything past that, we can leave to Bioware.
