I find this stupid and childish, and it only adds more lumber to the fire.

You could say it adds faggots to the fire?
I bet Funion is having a field day.
Anyways, it's good that they too express themselves. Just like with slavery, it feels like the USA is the last to finally allow freedom and equality for those who have rarely had it in the past.
For a "free" country, we are certainly slow to embrace shit.
[sp]Also, a funny thing about our history: General Steuben, a formerly Prussian General, helped train and prepare the troops at Valley Forge and basically reform the poorly trained colonial militia into a true army. The reason he was formerly Prussian but switched was because the Prussians kicked him out for being a homosexual, but Washington overlooked it.
We ow our very survival as a country to homosexuals in a way, and yet we still infringe on their rights.[/sp]
wikipedia doesn't say anything about him being gay?
Who the fuck cares, its a fast food chain. They have no political power at all and people are bitching over nothing.

Right, because everyone knows in the sacred U.S.A. big companies and corporations have no influence on politics!
Can't we just let this stupid drama pass already? I swear, it's like every person in the country just graduated High School.
i love the false sense of neutrality you guys try to put out. i hate the people that always stay silent during the initial act of stupidity, and when someone reacts with something remotely disagreeable they have an outburst about how "both sides are being stupid". like yeah chick-fil-a's actions were acceptable but now people are reacting?? how ridiculous!
is this really necessary
is this really necessary
Nope, they just want to flaunt their pride around and get away with it.
I support gay rights, and believe that gay marriage is a totally reasonable thing, but I'm starting to think that some homosexuals are starting to take advantage of the praise they are getting.
what do you find gross about it, if you don't mind me asking?
Look, I just don't like watching them kiss. For some reason It's much nastier than watching straight people kiss. I'm not being a homophobe, I believe in their equal rights, I'm just saying I dont like watching them being intimate that's all.
[editline]4th August 2012[/editline]
:I
are you implying gay people kissing is somehow worse than straight people kissing
Not inherently worse I just don't like watching them doing it
why are you watching gay people kiss
Look I know you're not this stupid at this point it's just obvious you're ratings whoring as usual.

He makes a valid point though, why does it bother you when it probably doesn't bother you when a guy and a girl smack the lips on each other.
Honestly half your posts on this page are pretty much "It's cool for people to be gay, as long as they aren't gay around me."

Look, all I'm saying is that I don't like watching gay people kiss. I don't see a problem with that. It's my own opinion. It's not oppressive, it's not hateful, it's not a conscious decision. I don't decide to not like it, it just is what it is.
If a gay man said they didn't like straight people kissing Facepunch wouldn't say a peep.

Yeah we would cause it's dumb as fuck, it's two people expressing they care for each other in some way, I don't get why anyone could have a dislike for two dudes kissing and I'd be willing to bet seeing two chicks kissing wouldn't have the same effect for you.
Yeah we would cause it's dumb as fuck, it's two people expressing they care for each other in some way, I don't get why anyone could have a dislike for two dudes kissing and I'd be willing to bet seeing two chicks kissing wouldn't have the same effect for you.
Are you even reading my posts at all? I don't choose to feel this way, I just do. Much like gays feel the need to be gay, they don't choose it either.
Are you even reading my posts at all? I don't choose to feel this way, I just do. Much like gays feel the need to be gay, they don't choose it either.
Yeah I've read them and I have trouble believing it, because I'd be willing to bet that opinion/belief/general feeling has developed through experience since at birth you have know conscious concept of how to interpret homosexuality. I'm not saying that you actively feel that way and have decided you hate the sight of two dudes locking lips, I'm just saying that I can't understand why you feel that way and the whole I just feel that way argument is shit, these sorts of opinions are based off of experiences and false opinions passed on from other people.
And don't compare it to something that is essentially hard wired into someone cause it's nothing like that.
Really pathetic that they'd do this in protest of the views of a chicken restaurant or whatever it is. Kissing in front of it does nothing but degrade the way people view them, nobody wants to watch them kiss while they eat.
And who even CARES what a chicken restaurant thinks? They're always protesting or parading and it does nothing but annoy people. If they weren't so outspoken about what they do nobody would care, but they continually force it upon people like it should be everyone's business. I don't even see why they're protesting like this when the president openly supports gays rights, there's literally nothing to protest about now. So ridiculous.
I love how you are saying this, meanwhile your avatar is a picture that a gay guy took in the gay chat thread.

Haha wow, do they keep any of their profits at all?
They still run reeducate the gay camps even if they regret what happened in uganda
I know. I'm not supporting them by any means, just saying that the whole fiasco involving them and the restaurant company is sort of blown out of proportion in that respect. The camps are fucked up though and so is this company for supporting them.
Wow
If someone doesn't like gays, they should just not care. But instead, they shove this shit down everyone's throat. Fucking LBGT's.
Also, bring the boxes.

I feel more uncomfortable seeing two guys kiss than seeing a straight couple kiss (though still uncomfortable), but don't feel uncomfortable seeing two girls kiss.
It is exactly the same as some food I don't like eating, some food I can manage to eat, and some food I love to eat. Just the way it is.
Am I the only fucking person who doesn't feel anything while watching gay people kiss? Well, gay men specifically. I certainly get long-john when two hot girls go at it.
But that's besides the point. Gay kissing should be looked at the same way as straight kissing.

Why, exactly?
It's an act of mutual love; something that should be shared equally whether in privacy or in public. I honestly don't see how gay guys kissing is gross. It doesn't phase me at all.

if i could get a hotty 2 kiss when im eating that would be great dude XD!!!
no but seriously, it's just kissing, it's not like they're butt-fucking. And people care about what a resturant thinks because they're activitists that are against what the restaurant is doing, donating against what they support, and that's bad.

I don't need to see people express their love in public, and I never said it was gross, I just don't like having to see it. That said, why should I have to feel differently, just because you don't feel uncomfortable around people kissing?
I never said you had to change your views. All I said was to lighten up a little. It's not a big deal. Two people kissing, and they just so happen to be men. So what? They're human, and they love each other. It's love. It shouldn't be something to be digusted by. It's not going to ruin your day.
If you truly have a problem with people kissing then ignore it.

I wish it was as easy as what you said, but it is too hard to ignore, as all gays just shove the fact that they are gay down your throat.
Imagine you were driving down the road, and you saw those 2 men kissing from the chick-fil-a. You cant really ignore that.

That's a weird distinction to make since dudes kissing and heterosexual kissing exactly the same

For a (presumably) straight guy you seem to be really focused on gay people shoving things down your throat.

That's like saying straight people kissing are shoving their sexuality down your throat. It's just kissing, dude. It's not like someone is taking a dump on the side of the street.

Yes, I don't need ANY people shoving their sexuality down my throat. Unless lesbians, they cool.
