this happens every year it seems around here, then again i live near allentown.
This is news? They've been swarming my area for months. Little shits can't even fly, you constantly hear them THUNK off of the walls.
That is a noise of horrifying psychological warfare. Show them no quarter and end them.
I live in Maryland and they used to some how get into my room. They would play the song of their ancestors in the middle of the night scaring the shit out of me. Not fun guys not fun. Now they just hang around my house
They eat our food crops so they can burn in hell for all I'm concerned. I whack them out of the air with a book, makes a satisfying smack and they crash and burn. Then throw them out.
Cali here, I haven't seen these things since I was a wee lad.
I haven't had any stink bugs around here, but there are goddamn flies everywhere, assholes get their shit infested feet all over our stuff, and the stores have sold out of fly swatters, every one. I wish it would flash-freeze and kill off all the bugs soon.
You're telling me, I went to put on some boxers today and one bit me on the cock. It was hiding in my boxers
i never get stink bugs in arizona
I can confirm that here in Virginia, there WOULD be more if the friendly spiders weren't doing their job.
To make matters worse, they might be introducing a predatory wasp to reduce the problem a bit in 2013. Wasps. :suicide:
please no, im deathly afraid of wasps, and predatory wasp makes me freak out. id rather deal with the infinite amount of stink bugs crawling outside my house than to deal with fucking wasps...
What do they smell like? We got stink bugs in Sweden too, but I've been indoctrinated since small to avoid them. So I have developed a phobia towards them.
What do they smell like? We got stink bugs in Sweden too, but I've been indoctrinated since small to avoid them. So I have developed a phobia towards them.
Personally, I don't smell them at all, and I kill them on a regular basis. This particular species might not stink.
This is news? These bastards have been dive-bombing me for years now.
What do they smell like? We got stink bugs in Sweden too, but I've been indoctrinated since small to avoid them. So I have developed a phobia towards them.
I actually accidentally squished one between my fingers yesterday and proceeded to give a good wiff. It's... An odd smell, it wasn't particularly bad in the sense of it being rank, but it was certainly intense. The closest thing I could compare it to (since I don't remember the specific smell itself) is it was sorta like awful smelling furniture cleaner (that sorta quick, sharp smell that stings the nostrils.)
I get these things every so often. I think they're sort of cute, but every fall we get loads of these little red and black bugs invading our house. They love to congregate in huge droves. I don't know if they're having massive insect orgies or just congregating on warm surfaces.
i never get stink bugs in arizona
It's an east coast thing. the invasion spread upwards from South Carolina iirc. and i think they smell like spoiling fruit. Its not a sweet smell but its a smell you'll definitely notice if you kill it. Its pungent enough to make you second guess killing it for a second
Uhm, here in NJ they've always been fucking everywhere. Literally the loudest fuckers around, watching TV in a dark room with these things pile driving the TV is imposible.
This is old news. They've been around in this volume forever.
Everywhere in my dad's house in Maryland. One of the shits got INTO the tv and you could see the fucking shadow of it constantly while watching tv.
I thought it was just me :v
I hate being scared of these little douchebags. It makes my falls and winters frustrating as all hell.
Holy shit finally i find others who acknowledge their existence. I've gotten atleast 5 levels worth of XP from all the kills, favored weapon would probably need to be the pair of jeans laying on the back of my chair, combined with the Paper Towel for ultimate killing action The hordes seemed to have stopped after 2 weeks of slaughter. But they'll be back, I can feel it. [editline]4th October 2012[/editline] Lucky for us, first frost means the end of these damned vermin. People wonder why I love winter, this is why
These little shits are fucking everywhere where I live and they're so fucking stupid You can hear the thunking of them flying straight into walls and lights, it's fucking annoying One time I was getting a shower and drying off, I seen one on the towel. I dropped it and ran out of the room so fast even the Flash would be impressed. Straight out of Pottsville, PA
New Hampshire extermination crew here, at the ready!
Everyday I come home from school I find like 10 sitting outside my front door. So it's a mad dash for my keys and running inside. The other day as I left for work, soon as I open my door, two stink bugs fly and land on me. Fucking A man
The fuckers wear armor too. It takes like 10 stomps to smash one.
The fuckers wear armor too. It takes like 10 stomps to smash one.
All it took from me was one flyswatter to the face in mid air. What kind of shoes are you wearing? You might need to upgrade. :v:

You think they don't bother you? [img_thumb]http://horobox.reager.org/u/spacy_1349532493.jpg[/img_thumb] I found this fucker on my ceiling 5 minutes ago, in my personal space. [img_thumb]http://horobox.reager.org/u/spacy_1349471571.jpg[/img_thumb] Had to hit it 4 times before this little shit died. I expect more and I am ready.
What do they smell like? We got stink bugs in Sweden too, but I've been indoctrinated since small to avoid them. So I have developed a phobia towards them.
They smell like a foul type of sour apple candy.
