In response to questions about Russian hacking, Trump actually said "If Putin elects Trump, that's an asset not a liability."
Jesus fucking Christ. Trump is practically condenning himself at this point.
Did Trump just admit that it would be a good thing if Putin influenced the election if it meant Trump won?
Dear Trump voters, I hope you're fucking happy by this. Thanks to you, the whole world gets to ride this coaster for the next four years.
And we're not even finished climbing the first hill and taking the big plunge down for speed. The real fun happens when he's inaugurated.
I'm going to be very impressed if Trump isn't dead or impeached by the end of 2017. People are going to be gunning for him, literally and figuratively. The Dems, led by E. Warren, are already quietly gathering evidence and building a legal case to have him removed from office.

He's pointing at people going "your organization is terrible, you're fake news, no I won't take your question"
I need to see this clip
It is pretty cringe-worthy watching:

Where is a video of the conference? All I got with one posters link is some white dude talking on an iPhone.

I actually like gasped in horror at this.
[editline]4[/editline]
who the fuck was clapping???? his staff????
I think that CNN has a good point, Trump and his administration are using the BuzzFeed article to unilaterally deflect from all intelligence concerns. I hope people see through this.
Did Trump just admit that it would be a good thing if Putin influenced the election if it meant Trump won?
Yes. He literally just admitted it on national television. You can tell he realized he fucked up and needed to walk it back because his next sentence was "If Putin likes me, that's an asset not a liability" which I suppose he wants us to believe is a less egregious position and not a borderline treasonous level of naïveté.
Edited:
Correction, he actually said likes. It just sounds a bit like elects.

Trump, his administration, and his supporters, lol.
People voted for this clown. Now they get to see him clown his way out of office
Yeah but I'd rather trump than pence
Honestly? I'd rather it be Pence than Trump. On one hand, Pence is undoubtedly dangerous, a terrible person, and very bad for the rights of LGBT individuals. On the other, Trump is a brainless Russian puppet who, by all indications, will lead to the demise of the US economy and the complete destruction of national security and nuclear safety. Who has the potential to do more damage on a global scale? Personally, I think it's not even close.

"If Putin likes Donald Trump, I consider that an asset, not a liability" is the actual quote though, yours have very different implications.

Yeah tbh the timing of this is really fucking suspicious.
#GoldenGate is a joke. It's a meme. Definitely not part of the original report. Everyone realises that except the Trump Supporters.

God I hope not. My interpretation is that other reporters were applauding the correspondent's tenacity.

Putin likes Trump enough to have put him in the Oval Office.

i look at it like this. trump has the potential to fuck us up on a global scale, pence has the potential to fuck us up on a local scale. it's up to the individual to decide which one is worse.

#GoldenGate is just a red herring
I'm laughing so fucking hard.
Listen to his first sentence. He very clear said if Putin elects Trump, then goes back and revised his statement.
At least I'm pretty sure that's what I heard. I'm on mobile right now but give me a min and I'll go back and watch the vid.
He said "likes" not "elects"

What? Wouldn't that be an Obama press secretary?

If Putin likes Donald Trump. I just listened to it a few times because I thought he said elect at first too, but he doesn't.
oh my god
He basically challenged hackers to hack the "unhackable" gop
also that conference that was linked with the white guy talking, it gets good at -1:08:30 (can't link it with the timecode)

Oh I see what you're getting at. The first time around, I'm hearing elects but it's actually likes. Looks like you're right about this. Still, it sounds any awful lot like elects if you ask me.

Ahahaha fucking shit, Trump is an idiot. It's hilarious on so many levels, and the journalist is standing there screaming like an idiot as well. Like, you're not going through dude, give up. As inappropriate as this whole thing is, he actually was talking over his colleague that Trump gave the question to.
Congrats to US on your new president, hell at least I get to say I didn't have a choice about mine.
What? Wouldn't that be an Obama press secretary?
Apparently it was Sean Spicer, the Donald Trump's Communications Director
