In a straight vote, which would work best for the American system, Clinton would have won by a margin of 2.9 million.

The numerical majority of Americans didn't vote for him, and I've been opposed to the electoral college before this whole charade because I didn't like the idea that members could just decide not to vote for the candidate their constituents voted for. The only way [i]I[/i] could be less responsible for this is if I personally went out and campaigned for Bernie and/or Clinton.
