Gamergate was a microcosm for what's been playing out on a larger scale in the wider world. People hate us for the combination of our skin-color and what's between our legs. Don't anyone here tell me they haven't noticed what's been happening here. If it continues we will find ourselves increasingly more marginalized as these people become more powerful and mainstream in our society. I genuinely fear for my future when they finally have their way.

But on a more serious note, it's a pretty blind move to hitch your horse to an anti-Semitic zombie who wants to bring about a Christian theocracy, which in the US means bringing about a fascist state, because you're anxious about progressivism threatening the rich white status quo.

The only way they'll gain power is if you and your ilk continue to be as radical as you are. It's possible to disagree with someone without swinging so wildly in the opposite way that you actually become what they say you are.

You know too much already, run while you still can. I'm too old to escape their grasp now.
Are you fucking kidding me :v: Have you been invited to Stormfront lately?
Have you not seen what's happening on college campuses? in places like Sweden? Have you not heard the words from the mouths of these people? I've never been to Stormfront, but I have been around the bros at RPGcodex, I've listened to the great thinkers: Sargon of Akkad, Dave Rubin, and so on...
I've listened to the great thinkers: Sargon of Akkad, Dave Rubin, and so on...
There's no way this guy isn't a troll account
"The great thinkers"? There's no way you're not trolling there, dude.
I seem to remember a time when we gamers were being relentlessly attacked by the mainstream media for making know our legitimate concerns about ethics in video games journalism. That "fascist" as you call him was part of one of the few publications that actually offered us a fair hearing while the others were attacking our very identity.
Holy shit, you base your political news sources on loyalty to a news organization that sided with you on a single issue several years ago. I read Breitbart so I can know how they're trying to spin everything and to notice what media coverage they neglect. I also read the NYT. I also read many other news sources, sometimes including primary sources and government documents if I get into a debate. Expand your sources, man, sticking to Breitbart's half-truths without reading the half-truths of other sources means you'll never get close to a full picture of what's going on.
"The great thinkers"? There's no way you're not trolling there, dude.
This isn't the age of schwitzer or nietzsche, so standards aren't as high.
I've listened to the great thinkers: Sargon of Akkad, Dave Rubin, and so on...
:speechless: Do you think college campuses are going to settle down back to normal with a party with overt influences by white nationalist groups controlling both houses of Congress and the Oval Office? Do you think Breitbart has the answer? Besides, college campuses are turning out special snowflakes who're going to hit the ground really fucking hard when the cold hard reality of the need to earn rent and buy food sets in and they can't get a job by walking into the interview and saying "I'm a transqueer hetfem with bipolar tendencies". College kids have all sorts of crazy ideas and safe spaces are only the latest of them. Embracing fascist nationalism isn't the fucking solution!
This isn't the age of schwitzer or nietzsche, so standards aren't as high.
Your standards may be low, but holy shit don't assume everyone else is getting on the well bucket to the bottom with you.
This isn't the age of schwitzer or nietzsche, so standards aren't as high.
they're so low that a guy who thinks hitler escaped to brazil in a submarine is a "great thinker"
they're so low that a guy who thinks hitler escaped to brazil in a submarine is a "great thinker"
Does one of the guys I mentioned actually believe that?
Does one of the guys I mentioned actually believe that?
I don't know maybe if you actually paid attention to your 'great thinkers' you would have watched the video where sargon tried to argue that because the FBI wrote a report about a guy that said he knew that hitler fled from germany in a submarine that it probably must have happened but then again I'm sure you apply about as much critical thought to your "great thinkers" as you did to trump during the campaign, so I wouldn't be surprised if you did and just didn't care

So he's very much blue-pilled in that regard." Sargon doubled down in the comments section.[46] Other YouTubers have since called him out.[47][48] -- In a July 2015 livestream with Kyle Kulinski, Sargon said "I actually think that it probably was a conspiracy."[49] -- Sargon has parroted 9/11 truther talking points on a livestream in 2014.[50] -- In a June 2017 video, Sargon claims he was "de-converted" from 9/11 conspiracy theories after he watched a viral video from December 2015[51] which debunked a common 9/11 truther talking point.[52] - Syrian Civil War: -- Sargon shared "evidence" that the April 2017 Khan Shaykhun chemical attack in Syria was staged and doubled down when questioned on it.[53] He later maintained that he was "not even sure that there is proof of a chemical weapons attack."[54] -- Sargon later presented as fact the debunked[55] theory that a Syrian girl was photographed in three separate "staged" rescues.[56][note 2] -- Sargon also said "independent"[57] journalist Eva Bartlett's statements on Syria were "completely accurate".[58] In reality, they were false.[59] - Sometimes Sargon mocks George Soros conspiracy theories.[60][61][62][63][64][65] And sometimes he embraces them outright.[66][67][68][69][70][71][72][73][74] - Sargon holds that Cultural Marxism is a genuine problem for modern society.[75][76] (See also his quotes on this page.) - Sargon debated Thunderf00t on Brexit, referencing a number of conspiracy theories throughout.[77] - Sargon does not believe that Pizzagate is real.[78] However, he spends a very long time talking about why child sex rings are common and "the left" should take them seriously.[79] This view is disingenuous -- the question is one of a very specific child sex ring, not of sex rings in general -- and enables Pizzagaters. - Sargon peddled the (bullshit[80]) conspiracy theory that DNC staffer Seth Rich was murdered because he was involved in the 2016 DNC email leaks to WikiLeaks.[81] In particularly poor taste, he spread a tweet by Paul Joseph Watson.[82] - In 2014, Sargon asserted that the FBI believes Adolf Hitler faked his suicide, escaped Berlin somehow, and lived out his days in Argentina.[83] Sargon doubled down and said this was "probably true" in June 2017.[84][85] This particular FBI-angled version of the long debunked "surviving Hitler"-myth was debunked by Snopes in May 2016.[86] The declassified FBI documents in question contained reports of alleged sightings of Hitler, and theories about his means of escape from Germany, but the FBI were only investigating rumours — not confirming zany conspiracies.[87] - Sargon buys Trump's (absurd[88]) claims about voter fraud in the 2016 election.[89]
Just look at Oliver Stone, he said a lot of outlandish stuff, but you got that documentary he made a while back getting praise from Mikhail freaking Gorbachev. When there are powerful people out there with the ability to manipulate events from the shadows and conceal the truth thereafter I don't think it healthy to dismiss people for believing in things that aren't completely proven.
Just look at Oliver Stone, he said a lot of outlandish stuff, but you got that documentary he made a while back getting praise from Mikhail freaking Gorbachev.
This is an appeal to authority and isn't really an argument. I think someone believing in multiple alt-right conspiracy theories may preclude them from being compared with Schwitzer or Nietzsche as a "great thinker". Especially when you demonstrate a failure to do even slight due diligence before pronouncing them that way.
I'm sure the conspirators are scrambling to tie up the loose ends, the article has probably been edited or deleted.
It's a conspiracy against Trump but he's the one hiding numerous connections? God damn I wish I could have your cognitive dissonance in a pill to take when I need to be out of my gourd.
Despite Whoaly's insanity I feel like he deserves at least a little bit of credit for disagreeing with Trump based on his own principles, as twisted as those principles are. It's a refreshing change of pace from the people who contort themselves into any possible position that lets them support Trump with absolute conviction every single time he does anything.
No, it's like saying you chose shit over ice cream and want to get even stinkier, fresher shit next time around.
It's more like he chose shit over a rotting side of beef. There was no ice cream in this election.
You believe that meme about Comey having perjured himself too? Shouldn't be surprised, but I should tell you that Comey was under oath in front of Congress. The orange man's lawyer tried to spin these as lies by claiming that Trump never said the following statements. On top of this there is literally zero evidence that Comey's statements are actually false. Why is there no evidence being presented by Trump to contradict Comey? and no, binders full of blank papers like that stunt he pulled before the election dont count.
I mean, Trump did say that Comey better hope there aren't any "tapes" of that conversation. So maybe if there were "tapes" they could prove with absolute certainty what Trump said. But then again, knowing Trump, they're probably afraid that they'll prove with absolute certainty what Trump said.
i think I knew deep down that Trump was a piece of shit, I just refused to see it
More like you knew deep down that Trump was a piece of shit, you just didn't care.
That's like saying "you chose between ice cream and shit, but the ice cream ended up tasting like shit, so you better eat the actual shit next time"
This is an absolutely ridiculous statement. There are tangible, measurable differences between "ice cream that tastes like shit" and "literal shit". You just chose to ignore them as a matter of convenience. Obviously you can't just ignore stupid whole-sale, especially when it's so readily and publicly available.
