Hot.
It's a shame rehab didn't fix her.
When I first heard about it on the news, this instantly popped into my head.
So ending your life 70+ years short... party on.
I wasn't trying to say party hard, die young.
Well hot damn.
What is it with musicians and dying at the age of 27?
Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix.. I'm glad I'm not a musician and 26, I'd be freaked out.
Also, R.I.P Amy. You might've had a lot of issues, but nobody deserves to die young.
What makes her different than any other heroin addict?
No matter how much you disliked her it's pretty assholish to make jokes about someone who just died.

"was" being the operative word
What makes her different than any other heroin addict?
She was a famous musician.
I think people who've never actually been chemically addicted to something can't possibly understand how difficult it is to quit. I've never done anything chemically addicting, or been admittedly addicted, but I could see it being as hard as trying to purposely starve yourself.
Same basic requirements and cravings from the brain anyway.
I feel bad, this morning when I heard about this, the first thing I did was crack a joke, but really, she was a human being with loved ones just like the rest of us. She had a lot of problems which most likely led to her death, and really, that's tragic.

Why start in the first place? No one's questioning the state of being addicted, it's that they think you're a flaming idiot if you even start in the first place.
Another junkie is dead, ooh what a tragedy.
you guys are sick. a talented artist dies and all you have to say is "oo she did drugs and died, im so superior with my undoubted longevity"
fucking pathetic.
Another musician dies at 27.. what is it with that number?

Talented artist? She has one song anyone knows about and it's about how she didn't get the help that would have most likely prevented her death. Natural selection if you ask me.

I wouldn't say talented
She was a famous musician.
What difference does it make?
Jesus christ this thread is full of future serial killers
She was a trainwreck and I didn't even like her music but making jokes, and worse like just saying she deserved it or that that no one cares, right after someone dies is about the most pathetic shit ever.
She was pretty back in 2006, way before all the drug problems.

Not your average super model but she looked fine.
I wouldn't say talented
She's was an incredible singer, really one of the best of our generation. Listen to this,

you mean this entire forum is full of future serial killers.
I guess all the other musicians from the past century that died of drug overdoses are just a bunch of talentless hacks who deserved it, right?

At least Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, and Jim Morrison had talent
You don't have to like her music but it's incredibly ignorant to imply Amy Winehouse didn't have any talent.

The only popular song she had was Rehab, which could've of saved her if she went to it.
At least Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, and Jim Morrison had talent
you're talking about an award winning musician here

get the fuck over yourself
The only popular song she had was Rehab, which could've of saved her if she went to it.
wow I bet you're a blast to be around
I feel sad that she died and so should you. whether or not you like her music means nothing
[editline]1[/editline]
once you go through puberty you'll begin to realise that it's okay to be sad
The only popular song she had was Rehab, which could've of saved her if she went to it.
Popularity =/= Talent
Rehab was not her only popular song. This is proves you're a child who has no understand of what they're talking about.

Wow you have such a black and white view of the world.
People seem to think that only idiots get addicted to drugs and alcohol and that seeking rehabilitation is the easiest choice to make. It's just not that simple.
i guess her last hit was
on the floor
