You can never be 100% certain of anything, but since plenty of people die from it, I think it's safe to say that it's pretty fucking harmful.
Thats like saying someone who smokes a cigarette once a month or so deserves to die, its not going to ruin your life or give you lung cancer.
of course heroin is more potentially dangerous than cigarettes, but it`s intirely possible to use it in a responsible manner.
