'Indian Army preparing for limited conflict with China'
You do realize that China will jump at the chance to get rid of some of their excessive population? They have no problem whatsoever with resources, either. If India fights China, China isn't going to stop; they'll fucking crush India.
I seriously doubt that China will start a war to reduce their population. That's the most backwards solution to the problem possible. I mean, if you really have to get rid of people, why not just put more stringent childbirth policies in place, instead of starting a war where every other country will invariably flip the fuck out?
The Indians are making military moves directed at China? The Chinese better start circling the wagons.

That took me a moment, well played

India has a huge population as well, along with plenty of resources, not to mention the rugged terrain of the Himalayas, which would be damn near impossible to stage a military campaign through. China would be fucked, as would India. It could devastate both countries to the point where their futures as superpowers fizzle out.
The sea isn't a good place to stage an attack through either, because of border tension with the Philippines and Vietnam. If China tries to sail boats through the South China Sea to attack India, Vietnam and the Philippines might see it as an opportune time to press their claims and attack a China who is already focused on fighting India. China would need to fight on their southern border with Vietnam, their navy would be tied up against these two countries, and they would need to fight on their western border. This is not "China crushing India", this is a 3 fronted war and not even a country with a massive industry and population like China can fight it for long without seriously hurting their economy.
China could win, but it would be a pyrrhic victory at best.
Poor Nepal, sitting in between them :v:

Bhutan will never survive.

Doesn't sound so ridiculous when you actually, you know, think about it.
True.

They're apparently very happy though.
I guess ignorance is bliss
Nothing will happen. Hopefully, for my sake...
Oh god, if a war starts, our supplies of tech support and lead paint might go down!
[release]
2012 it begins!!!!!!!
[/release]
So this is what it's like when worlds collide?
So this is what it's like?
But, India has more potential than China...
So because China is being a partially successful country people must now die fighting? Loving the logic here
I think this is probably some of the warhawks in the Indian government trying to get back at China for that little Border incident. And I can understand that. But I can imagine the Chinese reaction to this being a shrug, and then their military partymembers pouring like fucktons of troops to the border just to troll India, and to get political/respect points within the party.
So in a nutshell: trolls trolling trolls.
