Yeah I think this study fails to realise that the children are mentally retarded, hence they don't function correctly/in the same manner as normal people. Stereotypes occur for a reason, they're there to help survival. If you saw everyone as a friendly nice guy, you'd probably get in the van of the bearded guy claiming to have candy in the boot.

I once met a retarded kid who was extremally racist. He's was probably racist due to his retardation. I guess he wasn't missing this gene though.
