I feel extremely uneasy about the whole Healthcare bill, but not enough to really oppose it. Frankly, if it works and doesn't affect my healthcare I'll be happy, but if it turns out like what some Republicans are making it out to be, I'll laugh.

I just watched the townhall meeting with Arlen Specter and I have to say, why the fuck are they sending out people who can't debate for shit and just say something like "well I've already answered that NEXT QUESTION" so the people in there just trample all over them with bullshit rhetoric? Maybe if someone actually debated the fucking bill it would gain more support from the people so when some douche says "I want all bills passed from congress to be written on a junior highschool level or else I can't understand it" Arlen Specter doesn't say "HURR ILL TRY LOL". But I think what he's trying to do is force employers to provide healthcare. Which is better than government run healthcare, but I still don't agree with it.

Just look at the UK's national health service, enacted after the war, and funded by taxes (that are NOT absurdly high) and provide free health care. Canada has the same system, and France, and every other civilised country... Except USA. Obama is trying to install the same system, tax the rich and the upper middle classes (who in USA are too fucking rich anyway) and use the money to make a FREE healthcare system for ALL, not the rich only. And it does not take too long to get operations, ailments are treated by severity and constant check-ups are done before treatment to assess if people require more urgent work done.
