Imagine if there was a WWII one, only animated, so if you started on the date of D-DAY and sped up time, you could see who died where and at what time.
If I remember correctly, they have a full animated map for the Battle of Little Big Horn. Where the bullets were fired from, and where they landed, and if they killed something. [editline]23rd October 2010[/editline]
You worded this in such a way that advocates the execution of the unborn child
How? I stated, "Who ever killed her, and the unborn child should get death."
It depends on how you look at it I guess
Eh... I just hope those who killed the carrying mother get a just punishment. Killing a women who's carrying? I mean seriously dude...
Only you could bring the insanity of Facepunch children into this thread
It's a little different because prisoners and stuff aren't active threats, whereas people like this are.
Just saying, most of those thousands of dots usually have 4+ civilians dead.
Just saying, most of those thousands of dots usually have 4+ civilians dead.
I found one towards the far southern area to have an execution of 16 civilians.
Just saying, most of those thousands of dots usually have 4+ civilians dead.
most of them have 1 but okay
Just saying, most of those thousands of dots usually have 4+ civilians dead.
And mostly because of insurgents right
Well, yeah, didn't say it was all because of U.S. Soldiers. Just saying, lots of people.
And mostly because of insurgents right
If it's an "Assassination" or "IED," then yeah, most likely...
Eh... I just hope those who killed the carrying mother get a just punishment. Killing a women who's carrying? I mean seriously dude...
so you think a fetus is worth more than real human life umm ok
What happened exactly in those deaths in Iran?
Are you high? They have 50,000 troops stationed there and the bases were not handed over to the Iraqi forces. They probably wont be till 2020 if not later, Iraq war will never be over.
http://icasualties.org/Iraq/ByMonth.aspx Deaths in Iraq. 1 Death in October. Looks like its ending to me. Compared to the last few years. [editline]24th October 2010[/editline]
What happened exactly in those deaths in Iran?
Because wars don't end at borders. Most of the Iran incidents are less than 20 miles away from the Iraq Iran border.
holy shit
Am I right in thinking that the casualties listed as civilian aren't (all) Americans killing them? They are just anything that they have witnessed / come across and had to file a report on?
holy shit that is alotta dead people
:monocle:
This is really depressing. :(
Makes me pretty happy my brother never went into actual combat, what with being a mechanic. I wouldn't want to see him as a dot.
Notice how the dots are concentrated around the Irani border. [editline]24th October 2010[/editline] Just found a dot with 40 enemy casualties and around 110 enemy wounded. Lol.
I wish it was easier to read. [editline]24th October 2010[/editline] I don't understand the "Attack On: ENEMY". Does that mean the civilians attacked them or they attacked the civilians? [editline]24th October 2010[/editline] I assume "ENEMY" refers to Insurgents.
It's written in intelligence format, AKA; really fucking hard to read.

[editline]24th October 2010[/editline] I assume "ENEMY" refers to Insurgents.
Attack on enemy probably means that before opening fire they though that the civilians were the enemy and potentially dangerous. Not sure though, but if you watch the video posted by wikileaks on youtube it shows the military searching for enemies on a helicopter and requesting to open fire on civilians because they thought they had a bazooka and an ak-47 when they were only carrying a camera. I'll fetch that video for you in a sec.. Edit Here it is and the original full video
Their explosives training is really going down the drain isn't it.
Wow, that gives a depressing level of perspective.
The amount of civilian deaths greatly outnumbers the enemy deaths OR the coalition/Iraqi forces deaths. I can see why they didn't want us in there country. Somebodies ass better get kicked for this, is just isn't right.
Imagine if there was a WWII one, only animated, so if you started on the date of D-DAY and sped up time, you could see who died where and at what time.
That would be amazing
I took a deep breath when I saw the map was nothing but dots, more dots until 40% of the page was covered.
I took a deep breath when I saw the map was nothing but dots, more dots until 40% of the page was covered.
Okay stop dots
I really feel that I can't laugh at this. Usually I would crack open with a pun but not this time. So many dead, what can be said for those who have died in this war. Well if you can call it a war from my understanding. Hopefully in the future, the leaks that have come from this war will educate the public and possibilly the polticians about the cost of going to war, if and when they make the decision.
