No. This isn't Reddit. We don't do pun threads here.
I don't even post on Reddit. But thank you for telling me that this isn't Reddit.
Ban life.
this is a perfect example of natural selection, the stupid of the species die as the more intelligent live on
That's not how natural selection works, intelligence is not a hereditary trait, the only way this would be natural selection is if this guy was genetically predisposed to shooting himself.
dumbass [editline]1st September 2012[/editline] you should really learn what natural selection is. otherwise you just come off as stupid
everyone that rated me dumb needs to read a book every now and then. or atleast read a wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_selection [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] wow look at that, there you go I did half the work for you already
So what is an accident to you? "He wasn't aware" apparently means it was 100% intentional?
I find it hard to call this an accident, as while it is quite correct to say this was an accident (provided he wasn't suicidal), at the same time it seems to convey the wrong meaning. Dropping a gun and having it discharge killing someone is an accident, swerving off a road because a deer ran in front of you is an accident, pointing a gun at your head and pulling the trigger, even if you don't think it's loaded, just isn't so accidental. Why? Because to get to that point, there's a series of events that have to take place which is clearly dangerous and should never be done unless you actually do intend to shoot yourself in the head. Simply put, I don't think the term accident, despite being accurate, does the situation justice.
What movie was he watching?
The Crow obviously.
According to a comment on the article he has a son. No Darwin award for him.
