Imagine a CPU that runs using this material, you stub your toe on the PC case and there goes the neighborhood.
Not sure why everyone keeps going on about CPUs built with superconductors when semiconductors form the entire basis of transistors.

Yes the actual gates are a big contributor, but consider the near miles of interconnects on the die especially at the widths we're talking here (tens of nm range) as well as the resistivity of these interconnects (which are typically not copper).
