Sony half assed OtherOS and didn't even implement a Hypervisor GPU driver, meaning you only got 2D support. Which sucked ass.

just because it's cheaper now, doesn't indicate the fact that they listened to what people wanted, rather that it's in the best interest of remaining a competitive option to gain profits its a tasteless move by a bad poker player, and this further emphasises a dev team whos willing to cut corners, its getting less unique now

Valve for example is almost universally loved, while Microsoft is almost universally hated. But how could this be? Surely according to your theory all companies wish to make a profit, so what manner of anomaly is this? What differentiates the two? Well, the main difference between Valve and Micro is that Valve actually values their customers. This includes not over-pricing their products and acting less like a corporation and more like your friendly neighborhood kiosk. Every company needs to make a profit, no fucking shit, but [i]how[/i] they make that profit is what counts.

I am, however, going to continue to shit on it because of the always-on, mandatory Kinect. Until that's gone the XBOne is dead to me. Might as well not even exist. They've made good progress, and indeed the price drop is a swing in the right direction. But it just isn't enough to sway me. If the kinect becomes optional/disableable, at $400, I might be willing to buy one, but that'll never happen. So long as the Kinect is mandatory and always on I will stay a happy PC gamer, and if I do buy a console itt'l be a PS4.

This makes me want to get the PS4 even more because of the fact that Microsoft is only changing because they know they'd be fucked if they didn't. The fact that they didn't just have a $399 price tag from the beginning annoys me.

Saying people are shitting on MS for the sake of it and because of ~bandwagons~ is fucking naive and you should stop posting if you see yourself typing such things. A lot of people are shutting on them because they tried to play everyone. They thought their idea was how shit should be done and were refusing to accept people didn't like it. Even the company reps were assholes (who lost their jobs because of it). They're only changing their tune now because Sony actually did a good job this time. They haven't told us anything to put people off the console yet. MS brought this on themselves, just because they change the shit that was wrong doesn't mean we have to forgive and forget they tried treating us like fucking idiots.
