[editline]21st May 2012[/editline] Actually it's a sunspot. [editline]21st May 2012[/editline] Sunspots are really cool. You should [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunspot]read[/url] about them.

Aw yeah. I saw this yesterday afternoon. Was at the grocery store getting mushrooms to cook for dinner, when I went outside I was all "Wait, doesn't it seem a little dark out?" It was like someone turned the contrast down on a computer screen or something. One of the most bizarre things about it was how light going through the trees looked like circles with a chunk cut out of them. I did the thing where you poke a hole in some cardboard and let the light shine onto a paper, was able to see it quite clearly. I just wish I could have been in the part of the world where you could see the complete "ring of fire" instead of just a partially-eaten cookie of it, but still, very interesting.

Thanks for point it out!
