You have to be extremely retarded to fall for this
They bought an iPhone. That says it all.
They bought an iPhone. That says it all.
I'm sorry, I have an iPhone 5. I'm retarded? Is it retarded to upgrade when I got the phone for practically free?
Maybe someone should make a fake PSA about how useful guns are at scraping tartar off your teeth to eliminate all the idiots.
Does anyone ever fall for these? The pictures of the supposed microwaved phones so far I've seen were all taken from somewhere else. People seem to enjoy the thought that someone fell for these so much they don't bother to check.
Fuck I have a whole folder of these fake lifehacks from 4chan. Some are really great Like one says that our cells get energy from oxygen, and oxygen makes up a good chunk of air, so what you should do is suck the air into a syringe and inject it all into your bloodstream.
I know what to say: late.
That was for the old iPhone, they're doing it again with 6. In other news people are fucking retards, what else is new.

I'm inclined to agree with Brad here...
No, I'm going to go stupid over naïve. You've gotta be pretty damn stupid to think that if Apple had developed this technology that they'd let it operate on broad spectrum frequencies like you get in a microwave oven not at some INCREDIBLY specific wavelength only capable of being emitted at reasonable intensities by a device that they sell for an inflated price.
By all means call them stupid for not knowing that metal in a microwave is a bad idea ( i still put it under naive a bit more than outright dumb but hey ho to each's own) but knowing dick all about frequencies and wavelengths is a little harsh.
They bought an iPhone. That says it all.
Come on, dude. That joke has been overdone. It's just a piece of electronic in the end. "Oh geez I bought a piece of technology that does everything I need but that someone else doesn't approve of, better kill myself."
By all means call them stupid for not knowing that metal in a microwave is a bad idea ( i still put it under naive a bit more than outright dumb but hey ho to each's own) but knowing dick all about frequencies and wavelengths is a little harsh.
It's more that you shouldn't just assume something is true because of a load of vaguely intelligent sounding words. The basics everyone knows about microwaves: - things you put in it either heat up a lot (microwave food) - strange results (lots of other things) - nothing (mugs) Since your iPhone is not made out of mug, it's not too hard to think "hang on a second - that doesn't sound right" and Google it. I mean you're holding an iPhone, it shouldn't be too hard. I wouldn't know, I've never had one.
By mug you mean ceramic?
By mug you mean ceramic?
Yeah but I'm putting myself in the brain of the average spastic who puts his phone into a microwave.
Apparently the waterproof hoax last year wasn't enough evidence you shouldn't trust random shit on the internet?
That was a far better hoax, too. Download this app, your phone is now waterproof. genius. I wonder if the app had ads enabled. Oh I hope so, that man did god's work
I see this as a force for good. It forces people to inspect their own intelligence.

Oh I hope so, that man did god's work
It wasn't an app. It was a little image that claimed Apple's latest software update had made the phone waterproof.
don't forget the other next big thing
Just like its owner, that zing.
