Are you guys overlooking the part where the article says he's "expected to make a full recovery?"
You're acting like he's on his deathbed.
I just love how the big rich people get treated fairly quickly for cancer and yet normal people who aren't well known don't get treated as quick as the people at the top do.
Don't we love Capitalism?
Fuckfuckfuckfuck
Race accident is recoverable and involves unimportant people.
This guy has talent and will likely recover with HUGE consequences.
Calling an actor important is so fucking dumb. The everyday man, who ACTUALLY contributes something to society other than some entertainment is important.
Watch me get shit on now for not sucking cancerbitchs balls.

I've never seen this movie, but I saw that scene where he pulled a gun out in that fast food restaurant.
Looks really good, anyone else seen it?
His doctor didn't have a reasonable doubt.

It's a great film. Robert Duvall is in it, too.

The only reason we feel sympathy is because we know him. Don't get me wrong it's terrible when people die, but the event is so disconnected from everyday life that no one feels too much over it.
Also Michael Douglas is a pretty cool guy.
Douglas is an advocate of nuclear disarmament, a supporter of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, and sits on the Board of Directors of the anti-war grantmaking foundation Ploughshares Fund. In 1998, he was appointed UN Messenger of Peace by Secretary-General Kofi Annan.[12]

In 2009 joined the project "Soldiers of Peace", a movie against all wars and for a global peace.[17][18]
Douglas lent his support to the campaign to release Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, the Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning after being convicted of committing adultery.[19]

Micheal Douglas NOO!
:crying:
He was great in Black Rain, too... In the grim darkness of the 2st century, good celebrities drop like flies.
Nooooo, Gordon Gekko! He just got out of prison, now this!
This is the worst news I've had all year :(

I saw it for the first time on saturday. First 2/3rds of the movie is great. The last third, where he was past the point of return, just kinda creepy....
[sp]He went from being a guy pissed at the world and lashing out, to a guy who was just shooting people...[/sp]
told People.com he's "very optimistic."
No he is not!
