To someone trying to raise a family of five out of a trailer in the middle of Bumfuck, USA, this message was as empty as their bank account after each trip to the nearest Walmart. Along came Trump with his refreshing rhetoric about how America was in decline, and that it needed a saviour, it needed him, to Make America Great Again. His words resonated with them, because the America they lived in was indeed falling apart. Of course people bought his garbage wholesale, and turned out to vote for him in droves. They didn't care [i]how[/i] he did it, they only cared that he actually recognised the problem (in their eyes at least), and that was enough to make them a fan. Criticism of Trump supporters surfaced only [I]after[/I] Trump supporters actually appeared. The number of people who went "oh no, those filthy liberals are calling Trump supporters bad names, better become a Trump supporter myself so I can vote for him!" is laughably small.

Half the time the front page either has a quote from Malik Obama or Milo with raving support despite their identities conflicting with this label. The place is obviously ideologically divisive, that's kind of the point of its existence, but if you think disowning your sister is "not a terrible idea" cause she might have been in contact with bigots on a internet forum (something not even FP is immune to) then you are a person with terrible judgement.
