God bless Jackso-Sonic!
Wait, Michael Jackson didn't want to be credited for his music in Sonic 3 but he had a shitty game made after him?
Moonwalker was fun!
I just hated the graveyard level.
Was Sonic 3 the one with the carnival level where you eventually got to a little room and had to bounce a springy platform down low enough to slip through under it?
If so, I'm glad Michael Jackson is dead.
I never got past that part...

up up down down up up up up during the intro movies really quickly lets you go into debug mode, which includes noclip among other things.
I do not know why I still remember this.

Sonic cheats live forever in the mind. I still remember the Sonic 2 sound check codes. 19, 65, 9, 17 & 1, 9, 9, 2, 1, 1, 2, 4. There were others but I'm not typing them all here.
That's why it's a perfect time to announce this. Sonic 3 sales have been downhill since 1996. :smug:
Old game is old. Unless you consider the Sonic Mega Collection

The bouncy platforms which needed no actual jumping.
You had to stand on the and just press up and down (rather like a swing) until you could get out.
This comes as no surprise to me. MJ was a musical legend even back then so it stands to reason to get a proper musician to make the soundtrack for your new game.
This has been on the internet for years.

Hey i only found it out 3 years after i bought the game and only via the internet. I pass the torch on to you.
Before that i had to use a very hacky process of getting the debug menu on sonic 2 ripping out the cartridge, putting sonic 3 in there and resting it.
Because this did not empty the RAM the game still thought that i had debug mode unlocked. None of us could do the up up down down thing before the intro movie finished.
Still sonic 3 plus knuckles was the best game to involve sonic of all time.
You know the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge with the slot to put another cartridge in it? Thought it was only to play other sonic games as knuckles? WRONG. Put other games in there and you'll get random "collect the sphere" bonus stages.
i dont like sonic games
