if you vote for nader then you get to complain no matter who is elected
what if i vote for a rock
Is there a point where the pointlessness of my vote outweighs the special fairy dust magic of voting and makes it stupid and pointless
Agreed. Gav, you can't call yourself knowledge (:v:) simply because you want knowledge. You need life experience, research, and a heavy dose of reality before you can really say what is going on in this country. It seems as if you are simply parroting your parents' rhetoric.
I'm not patronizing my parents. My dad seems to be a full on Romney supporter, while I disagree with a lot of Romney. I disagree more with Obama. I think people should be able to keep more of their money and spend it on whatever rather than having the government decide how to spend money you worked for.
Well it is an issue to me, if for no other reason it shows he is disconnected from the middle and lower classes.
Are you really saying that a man born into obscene wealth and privilege is disconnected from the middle and lower classes? I find that utterly ridiculous.
The Television keeps telling me that it's neck and neck and the world will explode possibly when we discover who actually wins. Is this true or are they just hyping it up for views? Where do we stand currently?
election result predictions are going to vary wildly

Looks like imgur to me. Where exactly did you get it? I'm talking a URL.
every single poll you find is different. if you believe any of them for a second you're a fool.

Chance of winning isn't current election results. I sourced AP.

I dont care why he is disconnected, or if it is not his fault. I dont want him making the decisions that affect me and my family.
i'm two decades old and my parents are still looking after me and i still live with them (actually, all 3 of us look after each others backs mutually) because they and i fully realize that i'm immature and illiterate in some areas; i am morally and emotionally sound but i'm not at the best at taking care of myself to live independently in certain areas
I hate the idea that everyone has to conform to some sort of life plan.
Are you happy where you are and where you're going? Are the people around you happy about where you are and where you're going? If yes, who cares? It's cool.
The best map IMO. http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/results/president
10 year olds generally don't understand politics and only look at cosmetics to determine its value.
if that were true they would be voting for romney

Note that this is with only Indiana and Kentucky reporting

That's not what patronizing means

So you wish to ignore the mountains of evidence that clearly indicates that social services benefit the populace?
Call us when you've joined reality.

you're worried about rich people paying taxes rather than the middle class getting a tax hike while the rich get a break? are you posting this from your father's private space station or are you just delusional?

They were already expected to go Romney, it isn't a surprise.
the results we've seen have confirmed nothing but the 538 model being correct thus far.
Americans are dumber than we swedes though if you elect Romney.
A study made by the biggest newspaper in Sweden concluded that 80%< of our citizens would vote for Obama and I guess it's the same with the rest of Europe since we're more liberal than the states (?).

That's my current mantra (aside from "It could've been Santorum"). It's actually good news that KY and IN went Romney; Nate Silver is right so far.
