I don't get this, from the UK
In SC MSNBC says that Obama got 75%, so why did Mittens win?
Wait. Does this mean that they could call Florida as Romney and then have it change to Obama as more numbers come in? (Just as an example.)
In a state with the numbers so close (such as Florida) it could very well happen. I'm thinking that's why people are waiting longer to call it.
Keep in mind that R states have polls open for a shorter time, D states usually have a longer time to vote. At 8 we will get a lot of D states.

exit polls and how many ballots were reported and counted
they will when the polls close in those states!
I can already say Oklahoma is going to go to Mitt. Oklahoma is always red.
Romney 33 to Obama's 3 votes
it's early but still don't like how this looks. :c
The results are mostly of states that were predicted to go a certain way anyways.
lol NBC called SC as mitt yet everywhere else is showing Obongo is currently in the lead.
Wait. Does this mean that they could call Florida as Romney and then have it change to Obama as more numbers come in? (Just as an example.)
From what I understand when the media "call" a state they are just speculating, they could be completely off.
Oh man. Things don't look good. I hope things shift soon.
I'm not getting why anyone who isn't a rich old white guy or large business owner is voting for Rmoney

Because that 75% is coming from the results in a single county. Exit polls, however, show a fairly overwhelming Republican lead.
I had an argument with my parents over this. My mom is voting for romney because hes not obama. I tried to explain that hes trying, he cant flip a switch and fix it. She was screaming at me saying how obama had his chance and he fucked it up, and how companies are shifting fulltime to part time with employees to circumvent the insurance. It goes on and on around my house.

I eagerly await that moment. Adding California to the mix would be rather comforting for Obama's case when it happens.

Exit polls are fucking stupid don't listen to them at all.

Absentee and early votes are usually counted early to make the counting tonight go faster. Those are reported almost instantly if they do that.

Its wild speculation, the BBC explained it a while ago (amazing coverage if you are in the UK, watch it).

the actual number is secret
so what they do is after you vote they grab every x person
"hey who'd u vote 4"
extrapolate numbers from there
Ohio votes arriving!

kinda happened when Truman won against Dewey

This isn't new. Unless you are in management, it's damned near impossible to get a full time job doing stuff like flipping burgers because of benefits, and it has been that way for years now.

They are usually correct but they can still change their minds (and have a few times)

As opposed to the Romney "Retard vote"
Richard "I love Rape" Mourdock is tied at 47%. Jesus Fingerlicking Christ.
