They're still counting the votes in those states, just because they've counted more for Obama in South Carolina so far doesn't mean he'll win, they just haven't gotten around to counting the big pile of Romney votes on the other side of the room.
(except they're not counting votes, they're just asking people who they voted for, but the principle is the same)

Is your mother actually a man in her 60's with several offshore accounts worth several million dollars?
Wait. Does this mean that they could call Florida as Romney and then have it change to Obama as more numbers come in? (Just as an example.)
Think so.
Apparently, if Romney loses Florida, then the election is over. Don't think its true. Currently 33-3.

Nah, she just watches a lot of fox.
Do you all have crazy parents? I feel like I have one of the only Democratic parents in a Republican area.

i want to see what will happen with our r74 honestly, it is my favorite bill right now
obama: 3
Romney 49.
God.
If washington legalizes it, BC will be obligated to legalize it considering its our #2 export.

If Flordia goes to obama and fivethirtyeight is correct on the predictions, its all over and romney best start writing his concession speech.
8 minutes till some closings in usually democrat leading states. That should even the field a bit.
Early lead just means a loss, happens every time
obama: 3
Romney 49.
God.
They're literally just calling states that are basically guaranteed to go Republican. And many states have basically no reporting in yet. Kentucky has the most last I saw.
I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. There's a woman in my class that's a staunch republican. We got into a fight after the town hall debate. Regardless of who wins, tomorrow morning will suck.
Nah, she just watches a lot of fox.
..I am terrified over how big of a horrible influence fox is being. dicking christ

My parents in New Orleans are Democrats, a rare case for Louisiana.

The amount of states Romney must win to be declared President is set up in such a way that even missing a couple could prove to be fatal. And as Florida consists of a fairly high amount of electoral votes, and has been concerned going to Romney in most recent predictions it would require many other states that from what we know lean more heavily towards Obama than Romney to suddenly go his way to make up for it. And if he manages to lose Florida, the odds aren't exactly good for him that he could pull off such a miraculous comeback in other states.
my mom just voted for obama :)
still 17, can't vote. shit
obama leading ohio by 11k

No biggie. All going the way five thirty eight predicted so far and five thirty eight predicts a 91% chance of an Obama win
..I am terrified over how big of a horrible influence fox is being. dicking christ
Fox should be prescribed in small doses.
lmao what
Basically a lot of arguing. She did the same thing as Mitt and talked over me when I was trying to make a point.
Make sweet sweet love to her. It's like some romeo and juliet shit.
1. I don't swing that way. 2. She's old enough to be my mother.
I don't get why the Dakotas are red states.
Obama has been like, the sole reason they have an economy right now.
Do you all have crazy parents? I feel like I have one of the only Democratic parents in a Republican area.
My parents and I are Democratic. We're in Texas.
Man this is pretty intense. My parents have been big Mitt supporters and tried to push me into voting for him (I ended up voting for Obama). Anyway if Mitt wins I'll be very disappointed and if Obama wins my parents will be pissed and sad.
Keep in mind that R states have polls open for a shorter time, D states usually have a longer time to vote. At 8 we will get a lot of D states.
I want the D.
How long until Ohio gets reported?
