about to go vote right now for my negro brotha Brock Obama
What about the other 10%?
Other parties/independents. I'm just guessing, might be closer.

I don't think 3rd parties ever get more than ~1% of the vote
Just put my vote in. A pity I have to go to work tonight -_-

Nader got 2.74% in 2000 and Perot got 18.9% in 1992
No evidence that that will happen this year though
I could easily see Gary Johnson getting 5 percent or more of the vote, the libertarians seem to be doing quite well this year.

I would've voted for him, but its just not realistic to. They dont have a chance of winning.
I wish there was a political party that pressed transparency and common sense in government. Their candidate should be some blue-collared folk, not some rich bitch

Jill Stein, but I think she's a little naive on some things.
Gary Johnson has good points but then he also has some very.. e.. nutty points which cancels everything else out.
Back in 2009 I kind of thought the Tea Party might start their own party and take a lot of GOP votes this year. Instead they just co-opted the GOP

If they didn't try to go the "legitimate" political route they might have become like Occupy, an actual political movement in the USA instead of a corporate bought facade.
Out of 42 votes from a democratic state, yes he is winning
It doesn't really mean anything at this point though
Even though I live in the UK, I love watching US elections.
Probably gonna watch it unfold later tonight (most likely early morning over here)
In a close election like this, it isn't a good idea to vote third party.
I'm fiscally conservative and don't believe the rich should be punished with higher taxes for working harder, so I'd vote for Romney. It sucks being 17. I don't like both candidates, but Romney seems to be the lesser of two evils to me. Obama had 4 years and I'd like to see someone else try their hand at the job.
Eliminating the dept of education and making childrens education competitive for money is counterproductive.
I like to imagine that on voting day the candidates spend their whole day hitting f5 with crossed fingers.

The problem with that is that we've had 8 years of it. And it didn't work, it got us into more debt and more problems.

Expect for the fact that Obama increased the debt more in 4 years than Bush did in 8. Feel free to check other sources.

That's because he was focused on building up an economy, you can't pay off a debt without one. If you cut first it will stall and you'll never pay anything off without even harsher cuts.

I'm ready, people on facebook are going ad hominem on me already.
The only thing I think Obama did badly were the bailouts and banks not being blamed for what they did.

It's not his fault. Obama has cut the deficit by $100 billion

I can't find proof for this, but wasn't a lot of the debt appropriations that were made in the Bush era, but Obama took responsibility for that, thus adding it to the debt? Can anyone find any sources for this?
