I'll try it, but I sure as hell hope I can use my xbox controller.

That's Uncharted 3 on the PC, yiiissss
This grips my interests. There may be a few PS3 classics that I'd be welcome having on my PC.
If I can play Nier on PC thanks to this, I'll be all set to get my claws into Nier Automata!
They can't because MGS 2, 3 and 4 uses special pressure sensitive buttons that can't be replicated on anything but a duelshock 2 or 3.
Sure, right up to the point where the HD pack was released on the Xbox 360 which also doesn't have pressure sensitive buttons.
Apparently it streams video, how bad is the input lag?
Input lag is virtually non existent on the PS4 itself, I just never use PS Now because the majority of the games on there don't interest me, or I've played them before on the PS3 itself.

I recall reading that as well, maybe the adapter is just a sony brand bluetooth adapter for people without bluetooth in their laptops/computers?

You might as well just port it to pc rather then putting the 360 version on psnow :v:

That makes sense. It'd be really really nice if the adapter works with ps3 controllers. I know you can use a ps3 controller on ps4 and ps4 controller on ps3.
If I understand the Wikipedia page correctly you can't actually buy games, you can either subscribe to the service or rent a game for a limited time and they are streamed at 720p. Plus it seems it only works for PlayStation controllers, I can't use my XBox360 controller :(

Is this playing the game on the PC, or streaming the game from a PS3 onto the computer, like how the Xbox app in Win10 works with the Xbone?
I thought the duelshock 4 ran off of regular Bluetooth it is it like the duelshock 3?
It does but maybe the controller requires drivers, as it doesn't support the xinput controller AP out of the box

Neither. Servers with PS3 hardware owned by Sony are streaming their gameplay to you. Think OnLive.
Couldn't I just plug the Dualshock 4 into the usb port on my computer for it to work with PSnow?
I played Uncharted 3 on PS Now on the PS4 (I was an idiot and didn't know all 3 games were remastered for the ps4). The input lag is fine when you're just exploring or in slow parts but when it was an absolute bitch when it came to QTE events or even aiming. In the beginning it took me like 5-10 seconds just to line up a headshot and I kept dying in parts that should've been relatively easy. I got used to it eventually, like for the climbing parts I'd press the jump button half a second early and such.
If haven't played the Uncharted games and you really want to, I'd recommend so on the easiest difficulty and with as much aim assist as you can get. It'll still be highly enjoyable, the story, characters and set pieces are the best part not the shooting (which is still fun)
Ooooh, if I could only get my grubby hands on MGS4...
Shadow of the Colossus is the first thing I saw on the list to excite me. Half of these games are already on PC.
But holy crap, Uncharted and Last of Us finally.

technologically, of course. The question is if they decide that they can get you to buy more of their crap with artificial restrictions.

MGS 2 had a PC release. I am interested in 3 and PW.

Your better off emulating 3/PW playing them on a ps3/360 or playing PW on PSP/vita

Yeah but it just works as a generic gamepad, without touchpad or even XInput support.
You don't need those for PS3 games, but knowing Sony you'll probably have to get the adapter anyways to use it with PSNow.
Streams the game. No thanks.
Nope. MGS 4 hasn't been offered over PS Now for quite a while now.
Yeah, I know, but if it does ever get added then it would probably get released on the supposed PC version of Now.
Killzone is probably the only game that would be worth it, considering everything else is already on PC. (at least all the interesting ones).
No Demon's Souls, not interested.

Uncharted and last of us are more interesting than killzone

mgs 2 and 3 play just fine on emulators and 2 is fine with the pc port as well. the pressure sensitive controls aren't that important
No Demons Souls on that list. Move along friends, nothing to see here.
Even if it were on the list, why would any sane person want to play it like that? A Souls game played through online streaming would feel absolutely disgusting with all that delay, then doubly so when you have to deal with the multiplayer components.
Killzone is a snorefest. I tried to play the series this year on PS3 and it's just incredibly dull.
I'd kill for a real PC port of Resistance 3, though. That game was clearly influenced by Half Life 2 and I'd love to be able to liberate its aesthetic from it's sub-HD, nearly 800x600 resolution on PS3.
Honesty for $20 a month one should just get a PS3. They are plentiful, cheap used (can be had for $80 easily), won't have input lag, will still be HD, the consoles still connect to all TV's, and the games are very cheap right now. Seriously MGS 4 is $5 from almost every used store I've ever seen. This is the absolute best time to buy PS3 and Xbox 360 era titles, it won't get cheaper than this.
No Demon's Souls, not interested.
It wouldn't be enjoyable at all with the input delay, also I'm not sure if there are even any online features in ps now (might be different for the pc streaming service)
Streaming games is actual trash. Just let me download the damn things
Ugh, streaming. Input delay, compression artifacts, no thanks. I might as well just buy a PS3 at that cost per month anyways.
