A good leader leads by example:
He unloaded boxes for 49 seconds, gave a short interview, then ran for the air conditioning. I mean, I don't blame him. Those boxes looked heavy. Louisiana is probably hot as fuck right now. And the donations were really nice. Doesn't make him a good leader, much less a hero.
Meanwhile their supposed president Barack Obama goes on vacation. I'd ask why Hillary isn't helping (or at least lie and pretend she's helping, as always) but she can barely even stand up these days.
The governor agreed with Obama's decision not to arrive immediately because it would draw resources away from first responders. He is visiting tomorrow. FEMA's response has been great.
Why are you discussing and criticizing Trump's personal life? Catastrophic flooding has submerged thousands of homes. Donald Trump is actually on the ground, helping the people, and leading by example. Doing the things that the actual president should be doing. Meanwhile their supposed president Barack Obama goes on vacation. I'd ask why Hillary isn't helping (or at least lie and pretend she's helping, as always) but she can barely even stand up these days.
The fact that you keep saying "supposed president" is just fucking sad. Like what we didn't actually elect him, the shadow government did? Do you think he was born in Kenya too? Obama wouldn't even land from a helicopter if he was on call for every disaster that struck this 2680 mile wide country. Do you want him to hand out buckets during every Californian wildfire? He's the fucking president. He approved the state of emergency for Louisiana just so you know.
Didn't you just get unbanned for being a gimmicky poster?
He's either a gimmick or a rebellious 14 year old who thinks joining the Trump cult will be sticking it to the liberal values of his country.
Can I know why everyone is in love with Hillary Clinton? I am not saying I support Trump or her, I am just wondering. She has committed crimes but yet all of you ignore it, but why?
Can I know why everyone is in love with Hillary Clinton? I am not saying I support Trump or her, I am just wondering. She has committed crimes but yet all of you ignore it, but why?
I wouldn't say anyone's ignoring that, but when the decision is between Trump and Hillary, the choice is a no-brainer. They're both shit, but one is less shit than the other.
I usually un-follow anyone with extreme right OR left views on facebook, shit is toxic. As a moderate person this election is a nightmare.
Even the most moderate and politically indifferent people I know have started spewing fire. It's actually kind of scary. A shitty politician > A manchild is basically the average opinion I've seen expressed. I'm pretty sure the majority of people preferred Bernie to anyone.

Sweet! I wonder if other presidential candidates will do the same?
What exactly do you mean by "supposed"
Maybe that was a poor choice of words. I meant that Trump is being more of a leader/president than Barack Obama right now. When disaster strikes, people want their leader to be there for them. Donald Trump has shown great qualities as a leader in this whole ordeal. Even if it's "just a photo op" it has painted a much better image of him.
He could turn this into a sharp retort if he combines this with his low ad spending and contrasts it with Hillary's high ad spending. If Hillary hasn't donated already then 1) any subsequent donation will look forced 2) if the subsequent donation is bigger it will look like she is trying to buy them.
The easy solution would just be making a donation and applauding Donald Trump for doing it. Simply making it not be about political dick-measuring.
I meant that Trump is being more of a leader/president than Barack Obama right now.
Well...
the state’s governor said a presidential visit at this time would only cause more headaches for officials. “It is a major ordeal, they free up the interstate for him,” Gov. John Bel Edwards (D) told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Thursday. “We have to take hundreds of local first responders, police officers, sheriffs, deputies and state troopers to provide security for that type of visit.” “I would just as soon have those people engaged in the response rather than trying to secure the president,” Bel Edwards continued. “So I’d ask him to wait, if he would, another couple weeks.”
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/louisiana-governor-dont-need-visit-president-now
When disaster strikes, people want their leader to be there for them.
Do they? I would certainly not look positively at a president/PM visiting an active disaster zone. They are obviously exploiting a tragedy to score political points and using up police resources without providing any kind of substantial help.

He can praise Trump while agreeing with Obama's decision to stay off the ground for a few days.
Louisiana governor: Donald Trump's visit 'helpful'
He should be able demonstrate how it helped then. Did FEMA intensify their efforts during it? Was there increased revenue in related charities? That shouldn't be too difficult. Your assertion that Trump is being more leaderly (how?) because he got there before Obama is debunked by the aforementioned source. Even Obama visiting in a week is exploitative. Might as well have gone after a couple of weeks in order to keep the issue circulating in the news for a longer period.

Especially when that's WHAT politicians do.
The Washington Post has been trying to find some evidence that he actually donated this stuff, and has so far been unable to verify it https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/08/23/did-donald-trump-make-donations-for-flood-relief-in-louisiana-heres-what-we-know/?postshare=2111471979644122&tid=ss_tw

That's going a bit too far bro, I understand people here love the war criminal, Hillary Clinton but take it easy with the lies bro
So you are saying he never even donated? That's going a bit too far bro, I understand people here love the war criminal, Hillary Clinton but take it easy with the lies bro
Tell that to the Washington Post, not Smurfy. He's just relaying information. No point in discrediting this information as "lies", anyways, when you yourself cannot even prove that goods were in fact donated.
So you are saying he never even donated? That's going a bit too far bro, I understand people here love the war criminal, Hillary Clinton but take it easy with the lies bro
Someone said something bad about Overlord Trump? Better protect him from those big bads, Big Ol' Doney has skin just to thin to deal with them.
Someone said something bad about Overlord Trump? Better protect him from those big bads, Big Ol' Doney has skin just to thin to deal with them.
That is what you guys do the moment someone says anything about the war criminal
That is what you guys do the moment someone says anything about the war criminal
Hillary is a terrible selection and I'd rather not vote for her but you have to admit how laughable it would be if trump actually lied about donating we are literally choosing between a corrupt business in human form VS an insane compulsive liar

I only know that Donald Trump was on site, unloading supplies to people in need (and there's video of this). Did Donald Trump himself claim to have donated the supplies? Or was he just helping unload them? Also as far as I can see, that article just interviewed people who said "we have had many trucks coming in, we don't know which one came from Trump".
That is what you guys do the moment someone says anything about the war criminal
not really, I don't think anyone genuinely thinks she's the best choice, just the best choice available compared to thin skinned donny [editline]23rd August 2016[/editline]
I haven't been following this very carefully.
At least he did something
He did an exploitative photo-op, and Obama will do one in a week. Hurrah.

I understand that for you westerns, it doesn't matter, the wars don't affect you guys. Your family, friends, and places that you know aren't dying and getting destroyed so I could see why you guys don't really care. I mean if you people really cared, you would have protested against your governments to stop supplying, training and helping terrorists a LONG time ago. Some of you even support the wars because of all the $$$ your country will make so I can see why you want the war criminal so much
