For some reason, all I could think of is "Is this a new plot to eradicate epilepsy?" Still, I would love to see these become a reality. Very very clever stuff, I'd happily put myself up for testing on this sort of technology. how the hell would this be feasable, having to rotate the contacts every time you put them in, in order to align the pictures :colbert: its not like they can have a mini gyroscope in it. actually scratch that, I suppose you could have the OLED array floating in a little pocket inside the contact, with it being heavier at the bottom. would only take a second. but then movement would upset it

Of course, the video would have to be specially encoded/made so the brain can interpret the signals and translate it into one proper image in your head.

these would be horrible for anything besides a hud type thing; watching a movie would be impossible as because they're covering your eyes you couldn't move your gaze on the screen, it'd be extremely disorienting.

I want an IRL HUD. Shit would be badass. :v:

How will you look at the HUD? If you move your eyes the entire HUD will move, you won't be able to read it.
