If you ever meet a guy name Ian, like Michael Ian Black, the name is supposed to be Irish for John.
Imagine a fat, happy, laughing Irish guy trying to say John.

Now, I am sincerely not trying to be racist here, but it seems like African American children always have the weirdest names. You know what I'm talking about.
One if my friend's classmate goes by the name Katherine, her middle name, because her parents named her and her brother "R". Just the letter. The idea was that on their 19th birthday they would change their names to whatever they wanted. I think that is one of the stupidest names ever.

You're right. Us Facepunchers of the Anglo-Saxon persuasion should all just change our names to John Smith. Screw anything different. Wait, John's a toilet not a name...
My parents once told me they had nearly named me 'Maximiliaan', the Dutch version of Maximillian.
I instantly told them I would have found that awesome, but I'm happy with having a normal name instead of something 'unique'.
I thought being named Ebenezer would have been awesome :saddowns:
