I'm calling my child "Agamemnon Mephistopheles". They'll be Agamemnon Mephistopheles Smith. :downs:
Seriously, what's so unique about Alistair? There's two people in my English class alone called Alistair. My full name is unique enough as it is without a really silly spelling, Tatiana. (Although it probably is a really silly spelling to anybody who is actually Russian)
I've only known one other with my first name in real life. And my last name is pretty rare too, even if you put both spellings together
I'm naming my son Bill after both my grandpa and Bill from L4D.

Since when was Walter an odd name? Or Ivan? I know somebody called Ivan. And Kareem just sounds like a normal southwest Asian name.
Except Turnus got dominated by Aeneas, whose only Godly blood was from Aphrodite. Really, that's sad, he even had Hera rooting for him. However, he did manage to fight off a fort of soldiers single-handidly, and survive.
I was looking at things more from the tragic hero perspective. Aeneas lost his mother, father and wife in his journey, while Turnus lost his wife (who he loved) to someone who didn't want her just because it was "fated". Yet they kept soldiering on. I just think it's inspiring.
I'm gonna name my son Sue.
Sue is an average girl's name. Well, maybe there are a few males named "Sue" but there are much more girls with that name.
There is this girl in my math class who spells her name as "Dyanna" :geno: [editline]10:09AM[/editline]
Sue is an average girl's name.
It was a Johnny Cash reference.
My mom works in Obstetrics, so this isn't news to me. For at least the past five years there have been names like 'Macey' 'Gwindolyn' 'Emoli' 'Love' and my all time favorite; 'Phayth'
Hmm, maybe I should call my son Adam. ADAM ADAMS!!
Isn't that article just being blatantly racist? Since when was Walter an odd name? Or Ivan? I know somebody called Ivan. I'm naming my kid Shadrick, cause he was the first Moffitt that immigrated to America.
For those that don't get the son named Sue. Great song IMO.
I'd name my kid "Ladies And gentlemen"
I'm naming my son Altair.
Someone in the small town I used to live in named their child Va'Gina (Pronounced Vuh-Jeenah)
I want my child to be unique, I will name him 'Unique'.
Already knew a dumb bitch with that name. Precious Unique Hawkins. Yes, that was her full name, and she was a self important bitch. I wanted to beat her parents. Parents, if you want your children to be unique, let them be it, don't force it down their throats. Although i do like the idea of being names "Kindov Bitter", or "Vaguely Dissatisfied".
My first son shall be named Tyrannosaurus Rex. Rex for short. And first daughter will probably be Krystal or Harumi(means "springtime tree" in japanese)
My name is Findlay :smug:
If I ever have a kid, I'm going to name them Konstantin. I just like that name for some reason.
I'm calling my child "Agamemnon Mephistopheles". They'll be Agamemnon Mephistopheles Smith. :downs:
I used to know a kid called Agamemnon Despopeles. Shitty name to learn how to spell.

I have a person in my chemistry class named Socrates.
I have a person in my chemistry class named Socrates.
Is he in your philosophy class?
Oh I almost forgot, when I was in like kindergarten or grade one I had a (female, obviously) friend named Angelring.
These twins I know are called Béibhín(girl's name, pronounced BAY-veen,) and Damhán(boy's name, pronounced DAH-vawn). They're kinda friends of my friends, so I'm not sure if their parents are die hard Irish patriots or something, but it's kinda awkward for them because Damhán has no English counterpart.
dah-vawn sounds alot like Devon to me, or close enough for all intents and purposes
Alistair, and you have a unique name that is also completely fucking badass.
You made my day :)
My name is Bill and I am damn fucking proud.
