at 1:27-1:30 it looks like he does pull something out of his jacket/pants
He had a knife.
Turns out they had a video of this
Jesus, you can hear obviously hear him yelling "Shoot me" and approaching within 6~ ft of the officers very quick without stopping. Didn't even raise his hands or anything. And yeah pulling a knife at 1:27
Man the comments on the vid are dumb as fuck. "Should have tased or used a baton nazi cops kill them"

I dont see why a tazer should have been out of the question, but ive also never had a guy brandish a knife while saying KILL ME come at me either.
Yeah no I wouldn't really count on a tazer when some crazy guy is within 6 ft of me and approaching me with a knife
Who's gonna pay for that? You? Are you gonna pay to re accommodate people that can't afford to leave. Don't just throw a statement out like that without thinking it through.
Any sensible human would just stay home and not be walking the streets at midnight during a riot.
Imagine some dude with a knife running at you screaming "SHOOT ME"
Jesus, I'd flip the fuck out
Y'know, there's a lot of drama over Mike Brown's shooting, but this one is pretty cut and dry. He was robbing a store, brandishing a knife, in an extremely chaotic area, he should've known what was coming. This is really entirely justified.
And before anyone gets bitchy about "But he had a knife and they had guns, they didn't need to shoot him!":
Within 3 to 4 feet from them, wielding a knife, apparent intent to harm you? Absolutely justified.
The Michael brown case is pretty cut and dry too Michael brown ran over to a cop and tried to grab his gun that's probable cause to shoot anyone that tries that. This isn't another Trayvon martin case.
If I recall right, President Reagan wasn't aware he'd been shot until they told him he was at the hospital.
They didn't think he had been shot until they were half way to the white house and he started coughing up blood, so then they drove him to the hospital.

9 shots seems like too much, especially 2 after he's already down. But it's easy for me to say that from the comfort of my computer 1500 miles away.
Why your post is stupid:
Eugenics is a crime against humanity.
Intelligence is not genetically passed on.
What if he already had kids, which is irrelevant due to the two above points.
?
The heritability of intelligence is nearing absolutely undeniable, and if you want to go ahead and argue further for intelligence having nothing to do with genes:

It's rather obvious for intelligence to be partly due to genes and partly due to upbringing, don't bring in unsubstantiated claims in here.
One officer should have tried to taze him with the other supporting, and it should have been before he got to lunging distance.
Except for the fact that you can close an 6 ft gap in 2 seconds and actually risk getting stabbed or shot by your partner. He deserved it for charging with an deadly weapon.

The way I see it, if I have to pull my gun and shoot you, because of the threat you pose, I'm going to shoot to kill. Not only that, I'm going to keep shooting until I, not someone else, am convinced you are no longer a threat.
The thing I find most interesting about this video is how the guy recording it laughs and jokes about that guy like it's a comedy. Other people walk by like they don't even see it. Then, after the guy clearly commits suicide by cop, the guy recording it has the nerve to act shocked and outraged!
If you cause a ruckus in public, expect the cops to show up. When they do, comply with their orders immediately. If you don't, then don't expect people to be outraged on your behalf.
