Japan and other major eastern Asia countries are pretty racial and stereotypical, due to the nature where they have not seen too many people of a foreign race on their soil too much. Like the blog that you have mentioned, most citizens are likely to think that all black people are dangerous criminals and such, even until now.

That's changing. Japan is always like 20 years behind US culture, now they're getting into rap finally and shit. With the change in political power from the traditional conservatives to the liberals I think Japan is gonna go through a big change.

I watched Ghost in the Shell once. All they did was talk about countries. I was all like, "Huh, I never knew they made an anime of NPR."
Ghost in The Shell is actually pretty good. Mostly the second season though.
The fact that a majority of an entire country makes everything in the exact same style just seems uncreative, especailly since anime was specifically designed to be easy to do.
