Hey, your logical fallacy for today is tu quoque. Thanks, and have a good evening.
Hey, your logical fallacy of the day is the "fallacy" fallacy. Have a good day. If your going to call someone out for a fallacy, at least provide an argument to go with it.
Sort-of relevant snippet from an interaction I had on Facebook this morning regarding the incident in question. Like where do you even start with these people? I'm not looking for validation here, I'm genuinely wondering.
"Liberals put people in groups! Liberals have raised labeling people to an art form!" Zero self awareness.
Apparently, Pence wasn't offended by the cast's message.
Apparently, Pence wasn't offended by the cast's message.
Let me get this straight. Donald Trump was... offended for someone else.
Let me get this straight. Donald Trump was... offended for someone else.
Pretty much, yeah.
Apparently, Pence wasn't offended by the cast's message.
Credit where credit's due, he handled this in a very mature way, unlike Trump.
Impressed by his response to this, but
When pushed again by the host if he'd like an apology, Pence responded "I would leave that to others as to whether that was the appropriate venue for that."
makes me think of "Talk less, smile more" through and through. I suppose there's not really much else he can say about this though, still a pretty funny coincidence
Credit where credit's due, he handled this in a very mature way, unlike Trump.
we have reached the point where basic maturity is an actual positive of a candidate, instead of something basically expected without a second thought.
Pence is a seasoned mature politician. Hate his views all you want but he knows how to act professionally.
Pence not offended. Trump gets offended on his behalf. Isn't this something that Trump supporters vilify others for doing?
If people aren't allowed to verbalise their distrust and dislike for a blatantly horrible politician, then what the fuck are they supposed to do? Or did that whole "free speech" thing get thrown out the window? Honestly, with the shit Pence as thrown around, merely being boo'd should come as a relief. Especially when there are plenty of people out there with half a mind to throw things at him or straight up try to kill the bastard. But no, sure. Expressing disastisfaction through verbalisation is "rude" and "disrespectful". And totally undeserved for a man who literally wants to fucking torture LGTBQ minors into conforming to his fucked up ideals. And don't give me that "we're better than that" crap, either. Booing doesn't hurt anybody, booing isn't lethal, and booing is the least that this shithead of a VP deserves. He should be boo'd at every single fucking public event he shows his disgusting face at. If he refuses to treat other people as people, then he deserves no fucking respect, from anybody. No sympathy, no remorse, no regret. Not for a scumbag like him.
