Same here. I feel the odds of someone breaking in to my place just to steal a list of login passwords is a lot less likely than said password management service just ending up with a data breach. Don't try to nail this on being "out of touch".
Also write them down in a language that virtually nobody in your country speaks for bonus security. Horrible hand writing is optional but advised.

Horrible handwriting is more than advised

They've just done some rather icky stuff in the past IMO
God I would love to found a company that gets bought by someone else for $110m. I don't care what my principles are and I don't care if the fucking North Korean government were gonna buy it I'd sell out for that easy

What exactly is the benefit of Hamachi anyways? All I've seen it used for is for people who don't know how to forward their ports to host game servers.

It's a VPN

Well you pretty much explained it in your own post.
It's for those who are not able to port-forward, either due to incompetence or various other reasons. (I fall under the "various other reasons" category)

It's good for people who actually can't VPN, such a rare occurrence.
I met a guy in the army who actually used it, because well, I doubt they'd open a port for individuals into army premises

Rare occurrence maybe in your circle of friends, but that hardly represents the bigger picture.

And I feel like the odds of my physical house being broken into are far, far greater than that of an aes256 vault being brute-forced or otherwise compromised.
I write my passwords down in a small notebook. I always get a bit paranoid when thinking about it and trying to remember where it is :v:
If anyone wants a good portable solution to store your passwords, and sync them across devices, do what I do:
Get Keepass 2, make a password archive and store that logically.
Set up SyncThing (or similar sync applications) to sync that file between your phone, PC's and such.
SyncThing isn't like Dropbox and such; it's a synchronizes with your own devices, not on some companies' server.
Do that, and you don't have to worry about some company holding your passwords on such on their server, but you still have the convenience of having the file synced and backed up across all your devices.
But it's aes256 encrypted. Who cares if Dropbox sees your chunk of pseudo-random noise?

Yeah, I don't understand when people complain against using Dropbox, or any kind of online cloud service for KeePass. Using KeePass, you can also chose not to sync your master key as part of the password database, but also still use AES-256, which still kind of doesn't make sense since AES-256 itself is actually uncrackable as of now. If Dropbox is seeing anything, they're seeing you have a KeePass DB that they cannot access under any circumstances. If they can...welp, there are bigger problems.
Honestly, unless there are price hikes, I think I am just going to stick with LastPass. KeePass, which is the only other password manager I know, is way too fucking finicky to get across multiple computers and devices. It is definitely a nerd program, and I'm a huge nerd, but I'm not willing to put up with the insane setup it has. LastPass is just convenient as hell.
time to delete my lastpass

I think that's the best thing to do, along with any security answers, I just keep it hidden in a secret spot if I'm afraid someone might find it.

The problem with paper storage is not really security (though, of course, someone could still steal it), but availability. There's many natural forces which can destroy your single notebook that has your passwords and you'll be unable to recover them.
