Then, after I pull over on to the side of the road, club some hot blonde swedish bitch and throw her into my brand spanking new Volvo, I can rape her multiple times and only suffer minor consequences by going into a swedish jail, which is, from what has been mentioned already, a pretty good environment. Some darkhearted humour for you ultra serious assange debators.
This. The majority of Assange supporters seem to be left wing libertarian teenagers with little comprehension of the implications of the wikileaks releasing a lot of their stuff.
All respect lost for you.
I've said it a hundred times before. The problem with swine flu was its potential to spread based on nobody having immunity, not its potency to kill or its chance of killing a carrier. Even if it's less likely to kill a person than flu, if EVERYONE has it, then it will kill more people. Furthermore even if 1/5 of the population caught it and only a very small amount died, think about how the economy would have froze during that period, where 1/5 of the country were unable to work. I find it really sad that scientists and government officials who put so much effort into keeping it contained and warning the public are now seen as scaremongers. What they did WORKED. That is why it wasn't a big problem. It's not like they did no research on swine flu and just sent out a wave of panic.
The vaccinations were released to the public after one single study done in belgium of 100 patients.
The vaccinations were released to the public after one single study done in belgium of 100 patients.
That's the vaccinations, not swine flu itself. The vaccinations were a failure but they felt the need to get them out quickly. It's no excuse, but it's hardly on the point of the swine flu hype.
Let down by the UK justice system's bizarre decision to refuse bail to Julian Assange. But #cablegate releases continue as planned.
It's a sex crime, but it's sure as hell not violent rape.
Actually several folks here on FP caught Swine Flu before the vaccination was released. According to them, it's just like the common cold. Tens of thousands of people die of the common-cold in the US alone each year. Over the span of it's "life", swine flu did even reach a fraction of that. [img_thumb]http://images.cheezburger.com/completestore/2009/7/2/128910631672456548.png[/img_thumb] If it's not a media-scare, then I don't know what is.
Did you READ what I said? I said its potency was in its ability to spread, not its power to kill or the strength of its symtoms. Please actually read my post.
He's being charged for not using a condom by two women who pressed charges after they found out he had been fucking both of them. How many people get charged for "NOT WEARING A CONNDOMM!" Think about how many people go bareback in this world, and we hear about it because Julian Assange is wanted for it. That's so funny. I bet he really wasn't thinking about that when he was in Sweden.. Just before he starts having sex: "Wait.. if I do this, I might get arrested."
I'm not sure if he actually went out and raped some chicks but if he did then I'm glad he's off the street. It's sad when people feel they can do anything cause they're a "hero".
I find it kind of funny that Jallen says that most supporters of Assange are leftist libertarian teenagers. That's exactly what I am, except, I'm an adult.
He opened the gates to a world where people aren't left in the dark so that less decisions are carried out by the government alone. A true democratic world. My father (51) says "I think he's doing a great feat for humanity"
Yes, and there's a possibility that thousands of people could die in the process because this info may well spark a new world war. What a hero!! You people are so fucking thick you could probably survive being chopped in two halves.

Anything released by Wikileaks has already happened, and would get out eventually.

Pretend you didn't see that document that told you that your tax dollars are going towards a secret operation that has been functioning since before you were born, and poses no international threat to incite wars. It has the potential to cause a war, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good thing. Fuck, it's like researching the first concealable weapon and second guessing yourself about telling people about it. "Maybe.. someone will use this to hurt somebody."
Supporters of WikiLeaks don't know anything about OPSEC. You can't judge how dangerous a piece of information is without knowing the big picture: how that information correlates to your enemy's knowledge, capabilities, and intentions. The only people capable of fully evaluating the danger in a piece of information are the ones with access to the entire breadth of classified information it is related to - i.e. the government. I know it's cool and edgy to be afraid of the government, but they have access to a whole world of secret information that we aren't able to take into account when we look at the information released by WikiLeaks. Apparently no one trusts governments when it comes to deciding what information should be public, but for some reason everyone trusts a random small group of people with no clear objective or decision process.

Imagine that your nations missile codes, names of vital personell, adresses of vital personell and vital facilities are found/released. Honestly, you are so FUCKING THICK. Also, someone in the presidential administration has been GIVING him this information. I'd say being afraid of the government is not a bad idea right now.
Anything released by Wikileaks has already happened, and would get out eventually.
I shouldn't have to point out how idiotic that statement is.
Who? Wikileaks or the police?
The police and the governmental organisations.
hurr durr rate me boxes because I'm right and you don't like it. Whatever. When world relations disintegrate and world war III starts and your fat asses get (hopefully) incinerated by nuclear missiles, I want you to know that I fucking called it.
News cares more about Assange then they do any particular leak. I want to say he's the bane of his own site, but it's probably what he wanted all along.

You can make all the ill judgments about my character that you want, you're just proving that you're fucking immature. I'm pretty sound in my intelligence to note the usefulness of wikileaks. I haven't seen any missile codes yet but if you want to show them to me, please be my guest, because I haven't seen any of that. Vital Vital Vital Vital. I don't care. I guess I'm just too thick for someone such as yourself.

Not that I'll be able to tell, being dead and all.
What if it was a double?

of all the things julian assange could be extradited and arrested for rape is the most important

Wikileaks already leaked documents before the first incident with Assange. They used Assange in order to get more publicity.

That's just as random as killing an entire town just because a kid stole your secret diary...
