They got a hold of a tripod and an HD Camera, that's not exactly a transcendent level of equipment.
Even barbarians had more dignity than these shit stains
remove these people from existence
I would not put it past the US to fake the videos just so they have an excuse to attack IS, there are just too many inconsistencies with the videos like them cutting out the beheading, the unusually high quality video and audio and the extremely rehearsed speech from both the captor and the prisoner, plenty of people have been killed before in the middle east but all of a sudden it's a major situation that must be resolved by any means.

Why wouldn't the speech be rehearsed?

Do you not know that IS has a lot of money (and I mean a lot), they're well funded and as a result they can purchase hi-tec video equipment. If you honestly think the US is doing the dirty work here, you're more daft than them
I think they fade it to black when the cutting starts because, with a knife that small, it's a long and messy process to behead someone, and it'll make the IS' look weak if they struggle to cut someones head off.

Placing the blame on the US for these beheading videos is the 'easy way out' argument, because you're trying to fill in the gap for some distant conspiracy theory.
No one in this thread went full on conspiracy we were just stating that it doesn't look right, watch the videos for yourself.
how do you know it doesn't look right
do you have reference material of human beheadings or something

They have their own TV channel
think about that
Is there a link to the video anywhere? I don't really want to see the beheading but I'm interested if there's a similar speech to that really surreal one from the other video.
There has been no released full beheading video for this man or the last two. This is part of the reason why /pol/ and gore websites are suspicious of the authenticity of what they have shown. (Although they don't doubt that these three men were killed by ISIS)
But you got to wonder, facepunch, they have no problem releasing uncensored mass-executions, but the deaths of three journalists need to be covered up? And suddenly it becomes a terrorist act to view these videos in the UK, but all those other death videos showing actual gore are allowed?
Anything inquisitive of this, could ruin it as a casus belli for the west it seems.
They probably made a deal with these men to give them more humane deaths after they read the english scripts. Followed by beheading their corpse for the deathshot. It wouldn't look good if they said something anti-ISIS during the execution.

Uh yeah, there have.

OH wait you mean with the beheading itself shown. Ok
I haven't watched any of the 3 videos but I'd like to know if the beheading is quick and painless or if they suffer. That knife doesn't look very big.

if its not on video then obvs it didnt happen!
It makes more sense for them to conduct the beheading post-mortem. The only argument I have seen for them doing it off camera is that it was directed toward western audiences. However, it should have become apparent to ISIS after the second beheading, that the media would censor it anyway. Youtube search "James Folley beheading uncensored) and try to find a video with the two seconds of knife cutting. It won't turn up.

It's not a single precise strike like a medieval executioner. More of a sawing motion as with box cutters
not really
most people still dont give much of a fuck about isis or if they do, they just say a passing statement like "yeah those guys are bad we should do something about that"
[editline]13th September 2014[/editline]
well generally youtube censors any war shit that gets gory
liveleak only started 'censoring' the beheading videos from isis because they're getting too many of them and don't want to be just a dumping ground for beheading videos
Actually liveleak started deleting ISIS beheading videos when the UK made it a terrorist act to watch them. (LL is hosted in the UK)

Judging by the first page of the thread, the terrorism worked.
One of those times where killing people (ISIS) would be actually good, it's sad that I used to say "one of those few times it's a good thing someone should die" and now there's more and more sickos being so incredibly dangerous they have to be taken down.
It's not a single precise strike like a medieval executioner. More of a sawing motion as with box cutters
That just means the knife is dull or the executioner is unskilled. That's hardly a small knife.
I think the Islamic State killed these men, though I think their videos are cut in a weird way, that lessons the terrorizing impact.
So there is a few reasons why they might be edited this way.
1) Like Fayez said, the Islamic State might be too incompetent to decapitate someone in a fashion which "shows strength". They use a knife that isn't appropriate for the job, and they do it an awkwardly ritualistic way. The beheading might have been terribly awkward looking and prolonged... they may have just shortened it down to make it more effective in their own opinion.
2) Like MillySoose Said, the executioners might have made "deals" with the prisoners, so they would receive less torturous deaths by complying. They may have beheaded them post death as part of a bargain.
3) It's a false flag. Staged by someone in order to further an agenda.
4) Islamic State is a puppet of the US, who are in turn controlled by the jews who are from space.
I'd place my bets on number 2. I think someone with some forensics knowledge may be able to look at the blood patterns on the sand and clothing to give people some insight as to how the beheadings may have been carried out.
I'll admit I'm biased, as I don't want it to be true that these guys suffered a possibly long and torturous death. Though I still think possibility number 1 is almost just as likely as 2.
My favorite part is when they get stoned to death because they questioned their husband.
I read somewhere that they treat women like princesses, I think it was from a Portuguese immigrant in the Netherlands, I don't know if it's true or not though.
She also said that it's more peaceful in the Islamic State than in Europe despite the daily bombings, so there's that.

The internet is filled with extreme and radical sides, "in real life" people actually live normally, probably more worried and cautious about sketchy people trying to rob them than terrorists in the Middle East.

67% of facepunchers are extremists.
You guys know the terrorist's are winning right? You're outraged, exhausted and angry and the media essentially do all of the terrorist's dirty work for them.
No the terrorists aren't 'winning' because there's public outrage at their actions. ISIL isn't composed of ten year old attention seekers who scour forums looking for mentions of them and consider their job done, their aim is for us, as citizens, to lay the blame for their actions at our governments and rise up in protest at intervention so ISIL can go about their business unimpeded. They hope that through their acts we halt all plans to hinder their progress for fear of more hostages being killed, unfortunately while they've succeeded in causing outrage they've only served to redouble efforts against them with many polls in the US and the UK showing an overwhelming trend towards support of military action since this all began.
If anything, the fact that they're resorting to these tactics show that the terrorists were NOT winning at all; that the US Navy airstrikes were highly effective in disrupting troop movements and that the armament of ethnic groups they were trying to eradicate has leveled the playing field.
Don't they realise this only makes people angrier and more supportive of the idea to wipe them out?
And then there will be more civilian casualties in the middle east. The terrorists will be getting more volunteering recruits by simply saying "See? We told you the western civilization is evil. They kill your sons and daughters!"
It is impossible to completely destroy terrorism, they are like cockroaches. If shit hits the fan they will just crawl into safespaces and wait for the attention to die down. And after everyone forgot about them they will just start a new fire.
Terrorism can't be stopped.
You guys know the terrorist's are winning right? You're outraged, exhausted and angry and the media essentially do all of the terrorist's dirty work for them.
You do know pissing off the western world isn't their goal right
Until they've established a unified theocracy for all Muslims they haven't won

They aren't the fucking Sith. They aren't trying to "garner hate" or what ever crap you are claiming their goal is so quit complaining about people being angry about these disgusting bastards.
I think we should just pull all aid and news reporters and any westerner from the place.
Then carpet bomb them into oblivion. That will teach those fuckheads.
So what if he was beheaded? People are killed everyday, and this is just a media propagranda.
They want you to be upset.
