The FDA has regulations for how much of all of this is unsafe. Glass shards is the only part of that which is slightly concerning because of how sharp they are. Insect remains, assuming they are in a small enough quantity are safe to consume, just disgusting is all. the fact they only found one during this test shows that the regulations are working very well.
