I doubt he truly supports it. As soon as you go into politics you sell your soul to accomplish anytihng, and Obama unfortunately has more pressing issues like the economy.
He might pull a Clinton on this one.

Seems likely that he'll do what he originally planned IF he gets a second term.
After all, then they don't have to bend over and take it with a smile from the congress & similar in order to get re-elected.
