I certainly hope amazon handles twitch with care, because if they do it could be the business comeback of the century.
If they really want to make an impression they should immediately update the current twitch hardware and remove the delay

I've blundered into the occasional E-sports stream on Twitch. Usually a wrong click or when my roommate tunes into a smite stream.
The Twitch chat on such streams is probably the most concentrated cesspit of stupidity and verbal cancer that exists on the internet.

What's worse is the people now typing out Twitch emotes outside of twitch. A friend in Smite does it all the time and doesn't get why it's dumb

I still don't understand Twitch emotions. The most common one is some random face of some man in black and white, and it's used all the time, no matter what the context. I just don't get its point.
