Really, I don't want to go back to San Andreas. We already did that, we've seen it all, now lets go somewhere new. I really think Capital City (or whatever DC is supposed to be), would be a great location. There is unbelievable potential there for the game. If you go back to San Andreas, you'll have certain constraints you have to work within so that people get a game similar to the one they played before. By the end of it, you'll most likely feel like you're playing a rehashed version of San Andreas but with better graphics.
They need to go someplace new, give the players a brand new environment to run around in with new discoveries to be made. If they go back to San Andreas, you'll just have most people immediately looking to see that everything is the same as it was before, and bitching about the things that are even a little different.

I just really hope that they'll keep the ragdolls. That's one of the things that made me go in and play the game over and over again, without even beating any missions, simply due to the fact that I could drive into people and watch them roll over my car.

Severe lag issues on consoles and PC, broken lobby system, nothing to do in free roam (no activities to do with your real friends) and so on.

I still won't rule out the possibility of multiple locations, but let's see where the trailer takes us. Get your hopes up and hope for a surprise multiple quickshots of different landmarks of the U.S./world.

This could be really true. Damn, I wonder..what if Rockstar are considering The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony as Vice City/San Andreas? As in, those games were sequels to GTA3, but they could be considered as GTA3: VA and GTA3: SA. What if Rockstar are considering the DLC as the spin-off games to GTA IV? So that could mean that GTA V could in fact be a major improvement over GTA IV. I honestly was not expecting that and I won't get my hopes up - it's only been ~3-4 years, and I feel the GTA IV engine could easily be updated to better standards with only minor tweaks. But damn..I guess we will find out soon.

Fly a plane
Use a Jetpack
Chase a train (But all you had to do was catch the god damn train, CJ)
Keep up (mother fucker)
Have your hair done by Ol' Reece (mother fucker is split according to Ryder)
Be told what to do by the leader of a Triad gang (of whom is blind)
Get to go back to Grove street (Home, at least it was before CJ fucked everythang up)
Get sexually tortured by a Puerto rican psychopath
Race a Puerto Rican psychopath
Listen to the Who (over...and fucking over)
Got to visit Liberty City in a plane (although CJ has never flown a plane before)
Stop a riot
Listen to OG Loc (Holy shit he's famous although he works at burger shot)
So I'd say it was pretty fun

Yeah I'm pretty sure they will never, and have said they won't, ever use the old characters again.
I'm hoping that one of the improvements they might do in GTA V, it's to let you do loads of inane stuff. Like open car boots, and pick up/dump bodies (specifically in the car boots).

I never played GTA: VC. I just downloaded a save, put it on my memory card, and ruled VC like a motherfucker.
