I was personally hoping for another 80's theme GTA. I really enjoyed the setting of Vice City, the times, the music, the atmosphere in the game. I liked the map way back when I used to play it, but thinking back on it, it wasn't that great. Although that's probably because of the development of the newer maps, size and complexity and all that shit.
I just really hope for a good soundtrack again, that was my favourite part of Vice City. It's not been as good in the last couple of games in my opinion.

Packie went to Vice so if this game takes place anywhere but there you're in the clear. If not they might actually make him the main character.

6 months isn't too bad but it is just a little annoying that console gamers get it first. Ideally they should release it across multiple platforms on the same date, if other developers can manage it why cant Rockstar?
I am not too fussed as long as it eventually gets a PC release, I am quite disappointed that RDR isn't get a PC release.
I remember the days of GTA SA on the PS2 and just using the unlimited ammo cheat with RPG's wrecking shit up, GTA IV was fun but not as fun as SA. If V is funner than SA It will be the best GTA game yet.

I'm hoping it's like San Andreas. The story was believable but wasn't so realistic that the gameplay became stagnant like in IV. The random side activities, sites, and huge explorable map made it oh so fun in SA; That's what IV is missing, and that's what I'm hoping V brings to the table.

It'll be San Andreas, it'll be possibly the best game in a very VERY long time, the graphics will blow your mind, the size of the city will be that of a real large city, the storyline will be epic and there will be multiple campaigns/characters to play... all for your XBox 360 or Playstation 3, iOS, Amega, Wii U and anything else that isn't PC

I have no problems with the game being released 6 months later for the PC.

Niko probably won't be because his voice actor said he didn't get paid enough, it's not like Rockstar didn't pay him what they said they would he just wanted more after the success of the game. Packie could come back but I doubt it. According to the gta wikia he could be in austrailia, vice city, san andreas, or ireland.
